Very cool place to stop by for a craft beer and/ or to watch a game. They have a large number of craft beers on tap (not just IPAs) and the prices were reasonable. I ordered a Shepard's pie and it was tasty, but small. Will try something else on their menu next time. My wife ordered the burger and was happy with it and the fries. The place is worth a visit. It does not have much curb appeal (located on a strip on Main Street), but they went all out on decorations inside. Fans of Irish history and Guinness marketing campaigns will be in their element.

Good luck getting an online or a phone order in. I have been here before and the food is always excellent. They have put a new online order system in where you are charged immediately and then they have to accept the order manually with in 2.5 minutes. They missed accepting the order 3 separate times tonight so it was automatically canceled each time and I have to wait for a refund. The message I got said either the restaurant is too busy or there are technical difficulties. I tried to call and sat on hold for 6 minutes before I gave up. If you are busy you should turn off online ordering since this is pretty frustrating.

My family visited Tommy Doyle's for dinner on a Friday evening when we happened to be nearby. There were a fair number of people at the bar, but the restaurant side was quite empty. Overall, our experience was decent. We were seated and served quite quickly, and the staff were attentive enough. I ordered the fish Reuben with sweet potato fries while my husband chose the fish and chips. The food was fine, certainly not the best fish and chips we've found in the area, but it made for a decent meal. This isn't our top choice for an Irish pub or a place we'd go out of our way to visit, but if we're in Nonantum and hungry, we'd stop by again.

I saw the size of Shepard's pie dish and was two portions, the beef stew is huge, outstanding. Chicken parm with pasta huge... I'd enjoy 1/2-2/3 of portion and lower price now a-days . We started with the pretzel bites and a curl of French onion soup (so sad I didn't get a photo). Both delicious although the cheese sauce for the pretzel bites was a bit thin - the flavor was there though. The French onion soup was delicious! The first spoonful made my tastebuds dance! The bread in the soup tasted like rye which ended up being a nice touch. They also did not skimp on the cheese! For our meals, my wife got the French dip sandwich handheld which she enjoyed. She was only able to finish half. I couldn't decide and asked our waitress to decide for me from shepherd's pie, chicken pot pie, and the London broil. She talked me into the shepherd's pie due to the weather outside and the fact that it is so big, I would definitely get to take home leftovers. This dish was huge! From the first spoonful, the taste of the sirloin/potato/demiglace was perfect. This is definitely a hearty dish worthy of a winter's night! From the smile on the host's face when we walked in, the ambience with the wood, windows, and lights, and our wonderful (and attentive) waitress, our visit to O'Hara's was definitely one we would like to replicate!
