But this had to be the best experience I've ever had with a dentist/ endodontist! My regular dentist referred me to Dr. Weiner for a potential root canal. I had this procedure done by him 7 years ago at his office near the Hollywood area. He has since moved to the Plantation area which is very close to where I live = convenient. My tooth pain began while I was traveling in Seattle and I was worried that the pain wouldn't allow me to get back to do it here, but I'm so glad I was able to. I called the office as soon as my dentist diagnosed it as a root canal. Cathy, the office manager, was very kind even though it was close to 5 p.m. - closing time, to contact my insurance company to see if I would be covered, which luckily I was. And she was able to get me in the following morning. These days you rarely get customer service like this! She was really awesome! Entering the office you get a warm comfortable feeling with the decor, ambiance and friendliness of the staff. There's even candles in the waiting room and the bathroom to give you that calming feeling. The exam room is almost like first class on an airplane! There's a TV, they provide a headset in case you don't have one to connect your phone to listen to music or what have you. There's even a blanket if you're too cold with the air conditioning. A fluffy pillow to put under your neck which most dentist chairs don't have. And because I have a back issue, Melissa the assistant, even gave me a small pillow for support and ice packs. I was so comfortable I almost fell asleep! Dr. Weiner was excellent in discussing the procedure, asking questions and is very detail oriented which I totally appreciate! I really didn't experience much pain which is unusual for a root canal! The procedure was pretty quick and afterwards I even got a care package with a bottle of water, instructions from the doctor and an ice pack. The overall experience was wonderful and it was great to see Dr Weiner again after 7 years - which he called it... The Seven Year Itch! LOL I highly recommend Dr Weiner and his team for any Endodontal issues!!

My dentist referred me to Dr. Lichstrahl's office. I called and made my appointment with ease. The day of my appointment I walked in and was greeted and given all the paperwork to sign. I was called to see the doctor. Dr. Lichstrahl's explained everything and he recommended I come back to take care of the root canal that was done in a couple of week. He gave me a script for antibiotics. I got a call a few days before to confirm. The day of, everything went smoothly. I have to say I hardly felt a thing. He has what my grandmother calls "Saint Hands." He did the anesthesia and I didn't feel a sting or anything. He explained what he was doing and asked how I was doing during the entire procedure. At times, I felt so calm, I almost fell asleep. This is a very professional office. They do a great job scheduling patients and communicating with them. Dr. Lichstrahl is fantastic.

Every time I call, I can never get someone who speaks ENGLISH!" I thought it extremely inappropriate for her to make those statements to a patient, and worse, that's how she feels. I followed up again a couple of weeks later. Her first question was, "Why haven't I heard from your insurance?" Did you follow up with them? Did you re-submit like I asked you to please? "It's YOUR insurance!" she yelled back. "You have to follow up with them!" I'm in the insurance business and have NEVER had a provider tell me I have to follow up on their work. To which, I did but they couldn't be bothered following up themselves because they "HATE my insurance and can't get someone in America to answer the phones!' I can't go to an office where that is their philosophy and money is the priority rather than YOUR health as part of their interest. My appointment took forever, not because they ran late but because they take their time with you. She takes digital photos of your teeth, showing you problem areas. They really care about you and your mouth. Even when the dentist comes in, it's not a quick visit. You're with him for another 10-15 minutes going over anything they find troubling. The coolest thing though? They have tv's on the ceiling. What a better place to have a tv, right? While they are digging in your mouth you can watch Judge Judy. And for that I love this place even more. They have a referral program that gives you $25 for every person you refer. I will never see another dentist as long as I live in this area.

My dentist took X-rays in June and September and he couldn't see anything. I was not in pain but the tooth just had a weird sensation. My dentist explained that Dr. Ginzler had a microscope and a certain X-ray that was not available in my very well equipped and modern dental office. Uh-Oh. This can't be good, I though to myself. I had a consult with Dr. Ginzler, and he brought me into a room to view the X-rays. He explained what had happened, which matched up exactly with what I had experienced. He showed me my X-ray and another X-ray for comparison. He makes sure you understand everything. He's very patient and speaks with a soothing demeanor. It was reassuring. Nobody is without anxiety about having a root canal. He understands this. Anyway, to wrap up: had the consult on 10-9, had the root canal on 10-12. Absolutely zero pain. None. Not during and not after. That night I couldn't even tell I'd had anything done. He is a really cool guy and an expert at his craft. His office staff was "on it" every step of the way. Pleasant, efficient and didn't need anything from me except my insurance card. They 100% handled everything which is always appreciated. Dr Yanover asked me detailed questions about my symptoms, obtained additional X-rays and scans, and performed a meticulous examination. He was able to reassure me that my concerns were most unlikely. I was impressed by Dr Yanover's warm and engaging bedside manner, and the same is true of his office staff. Above all, I was confident in his integrity and expertise. Dr Tink explained the process prior to the procedure and she even told me what she was doing as she was performing the root canal. There was little discomfort and later that evening, I did not have to take any pain medication. She cleaned out 5 canals in one tooth and she (along with her dental assistant) performed the procedure flawlessly with the most modern tools and equipment that I have ever seen.
