I never thought I would be rating a dentist or endodontist 5 star, simply because I've never been a fan of dentists all my life! But this had to be the best experience I've ever had with a dentist/ endodontist! My regular dentist referred me to Dr. Weiner for a potential root canal. I had this procedure done by him 7 years ago at his office near the Hollywood area. He has since moved to the Plantation area which is very close to where I live = convenient. My tooth pain began while I was traveling in Seattle and I was worried that the pain wouldn't allow me to get back to do it here, but I'm so glad I was able to. I called the office as soon as my dentist diagnosed it as a root canal. Cathy, the office manager, was very kind even though it was close to 5 p.m. - closing time, to contact my insurance company to see if I would be covered, which luckily I was. And she was able to get me in the following morning. These days you rarely get customer service like this! She was really awesome! Entering the office you get a warm comfortable feeling with the decor, ambiance and friendliness of the staff. There's even candles in the waiting room and the bathroom to give you that calming feeling. The exam room is almost like first class on an airplane! There's a TV, they provide a headset in case you don't have one to connect your phone to listen to music or what have you. There's even a blanket if you're too cold with the air conditioning. A fluffy pillow to put under your neck which most dentist chairs don't have. And because I have a back issue, Melissa the assistant, even gave me a small pillow for support and ice packs. I was so comfortable I almost fell asleep! Dr. Weiner was excellent in discussing the procedure, asking questions and is very detail oriented which I totally appreciate! I really didn't experience much pain which is unusual for a root canal! The procedure was pretty quick and afterwards I even got a care package with a bottle of water, instructions from the doctor and an ice pack. The overall experience was wonderful and it was great to see Dr Weiner again after 7 years - which he called it... The Seven Year Itch! LOL I highly recommend Dr Weiner and his team for any Endodontal issues!! read more

Dr. Weiner and his staff are extremely friendly, attentive, and professional. Although I was not excited about having a root canal (my first one), Dr. Wiener ensured the entire procedure was painless. Additionally, he and his dental assistant, Melissa, worked quickly and competently. There tandem efforts are something to actually marvel. I also would like to thank Kelly at the front desk. Dr Sy Weiner was fantastic I was not an easy surgey and it with three root canals in one his office staff were incredible to the front desk receptionist to the dental assistants. The care and comfort was impeccable even gave me pain meds before I left held me over an ice pack and I am less than 24 hrs minimal swelling and pain gone. Great job I am 50 now had not had a root canal since my early 40s pretty good about my dental care. He is a great professional dont make them like Sy Weiner anymore. I even got apple juice after having some anxiety due to another dental office sending me over for emergency surgery. What a blessing Sy Weiner is worth every dollar spent. He cares and his team would recommend him to anyone in need. read more

Very bad service!!! The woman in charge of money is the worst. This Dr losing patience because of her. My husband left the place After the lady didn't even want to listen what he needs and what is the issue before she see the money. And this is after he already paid $3000 for their services. It's all about the money there. They wanted credit card up front before diagnostic. My husband told her he is trying to explain the issue nicely and to please listen but she wanted money first. And because she didn't want to listen she told him to leave the place. Will never go there again! read more

What an amazing Practice. Dr. Weiner went out of his way to fit me in as emergency (same day appt). The staff are friendly and absolutely put me at ease. I am so lucky to have met this staff. They go well above and beyond the normal dentist office. One of the best experiences I have had. Dr. Weiner even personally called me to check in, not once but a few times. I was referred to Dr. Weiner by my dentist for a root canal. Firstly, the office is spotless. The staff are wonderful. Dr. Weiner is AMAZING. You can't help but just love him. Then the root canal.......... what root canal? It was a breeze, from the warm blanket they cover you with before, the music you can have piped in, and the staff's gentle demeanour, I was instantly put at ease. I wish I could give 10 stars!!! Love this doctor and office staff. They make you feel like family. Saw him a year ago for an emergency root canal. He was so gentle and caring. Office called me on the weekend to see if I needed anything. Fast forward a year later and I'm having another issue. Excellent doctor and staff! I highly recommend Dr. Weiner! I went in for a consultation adamant that I did not want a root canal; I just wanted that molar pulled but went for a consult just to comply with my dentist's recommendation. From the moment I sat in the chair, I felt comfortable and at ease. I was even given a little pillow for my head! I couldn't believe it; I made an appointment to have my root canal done the following week. My procedure was painless and went smoothly. I had some minor soreness after which was to be expected but otherwise all went well. I called his office on a Friday morning, after being diagnosed by my general dentist, needing of a root canal. His office staff took the time and patience to get me in at 5:00 PM. They made me feel comfortable, and treated me as if I was the king. After 90 minutes, both Melissa( dental tech) and Dr. Weiner had finished, and I was on my merry way.I was on the dance floor by 8 PM that night. On Saturday morning I got a call from Melissa on her day off, to check up on me. I can't remember the last time any medical office called me the day after a visit,to see how I was doing. Very professional and friendly office staff and very competent Doctor. My wife saw Dr Weiner in his temporary Weston office and had a great experience unlike several other endodontist's she tried which had rude and incompetent doctors and staff. I was waiting in the front and one of the staff offered me a bottled water! My wife's root canal went perfectly and they called her the next day to make sure she was Ok. I am surprised to see a bad review for Dr. Weiner. I guess everything is possible, but I can speak from my personal experience only. I had 5 teeth done by him. Everything worked out great. He had an awesome assistant from Europe. Can't remember her name, but the girl was a jewel. Actually, everyone in the office is good. Every time I need something.... it gets done the same day. Calls get returned promptly, x-Rays forwarded immediately, Doctor cares about my health by not subjecting me to an unnecessary radiation. I actually trust Dr. Weiner 100%. I wish he did restorative work. I'd go to him in a heartbeat. read more

I have had 3 root canals done by Dr. Weiner in the past year. I must say, it was the most pleasurable experience I've ever had in a dental office, each and every time. Dr. Weiner has such a pleasant bedside manner, and is truly the best in his field. I never felt one ounce of pain, not even the injections! The office is warm and cozy. Pillows, blankets, T.V.'s, and earphones for music in the rooms. I literally felt like I was at home. His staff is professional, knowledgable, and so kind. Like another reviewer, I am very surprised to see a poor review of this fantastic practice. I had a great experience. The entire staff are wonderful - so caring and just lovely people. And Dr. Weiner was fantastic. No one wants a root canal and no one wants a second one for sure but I have to say that if I do have to have another one, I'll have no fear or trepidation as long as I can go back to Dr. Weiner and his wonderful support personnel. I'm very afraid of dentists which I disclosed. Well, while the procedure was being done, his great assistant kept gently patting my arm throughout -- it was so comforting and just plain nice.
