The staff was so courteous and caring and went out of their way to make me feel everything was under control because the last thing I needed was stress during that time. Craig and Mandy took amazing care of me and were patient with me during my constant barrage of questions and concerns. Also, the way my mom looked was incredible. It's almost as if they knew how she had looked all her life and she looked so peaceful and natural. They dressed her in an outfit my wife picked out and put the jewelry on her in such a classy way. The graveside funeral itself was such a special time for our family and was exactly what we wanted. Billy was so caring, patient and compassionate. I could tell this was more than just a job for him - he really cares about people and God bless him! We never felt rushed or pressured. We were from out of town, but came here because it was Mary's hometown and she would be buried here. Mary had severe mental issues, so she didn't have a lot of close friends. I am her cousin, and have been her guardian for 3 years, but her amazing caregivers were the people who really knew her well. So basically we were giving a funeral for a lot of people that I didn't know. They let me come in and handle things the way I chose to - more informally, because Mary was anything but formal, and they were respectful and loving and kind with every aspect. Many people from our family have had funerals at Roller and even though my memories of being there are sad, they handled everything with dignity, grace and respect for the family!
