I went in today to purchase items that totaled around $13 and change first I swipe my bank card it…read moredid a partial payment I looked at the attendant and said that's weird that's never happened this is my bank card why is it a partial payment they said they did not know and that the system was saying I still owe $4 of course to not try to be a burden I grab my credit card I scanned it it took around 40 cents and change off I could not believe it then I went to swipe my cash app card knowing full well there were money in both these other accounts it denied my cash out card I went over to the ATM to check on funds availability the funds were in my account I told him it was their machine the manager on duty insisted that it was not the machine to the point that I had to tell her to stop saying it's not your machine the money is in the account at this point I just wanted something printed out canceling the transaction all together and something that said it was canceled they could not provide this it got escalated to the point that she threatened to call the cops then when she got on the phone with the owner to get them up there she proceeded to give a description of what I was wearing over the phone and then she told the owner I refuse to leave I was never asked to leave so I made the comment is that why we're calling the cops because now you're saying I refuse to leave when I simply want a receipt all of that being said I'm late to a football game for the children they finally printed something out that at the bottom said voided I did not have time to wait for the owner I do encourage him to reach out to me because I went 15 minutes down the road purchase the same items swiped one of the three cards I used there and guess what it worked just fine

No matter when you show up to pick up your order, it will NOT be ready; and, whenever they finally prepare it, it is likely not to be what you ordered. The workers aren't professional and move with no sense of urgency. This location is desperately in need of new management and all new employees.

I was working down at the school in Wicksburg and I didn't bring a lunch. I was thinking about…read moremaking a 10 minute drive on my lunch break for fast food. Instead, a teacher I worked with that day told me there was a deli with a cafeteria hot meal bar in the gas station at Hwy 84. I chose country cooking over fast food and it was a terrific choice. There is a menu with sandwiches but I went with the meat and 2 choice. Today, the choices were BBQ Chicken, pork chops, or chicken tenders. I went with the BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes, and blackeye peas. All of it made for a solid, homestyle, country cooking lunch. My lunch also included a massive piece of fried cornbread, apple cobbler, and sweet tea. Quite a meal with some tasty fixings that cost $9...a little more than fast food, but soooo much better in every aspect. Next time I work at the school in Wicksburg, I will be contemplating ways on how to make it up to Robert's Cafe.
