Tom is incompetent and a failure as an attorney. At intake, they will state that they have a high dismissal rate for whichever Creditor is suing you. It is a scripted response. However, instead of dismissal, you will be advised by the firm to settle. Stay away from this place. Once they have your money, you wont get a response. Tom doesn't speak directly to clients. You will have to leave multiple messages with call screeners and send alot of emails to get a response from him. read more

This firm does not respond to emails or provide case status updates with any regularity. They call from multiple phone numbers and never leave a voicemail. I received a generic notice about an upcoming hearing and wasn't provided with any details. Find another attorney that actually cares about representing you and not just taking your money. Thomas will claim you aren't a client and he doesn't have a record of you in his system. This is his scripted response. I posted a lengthy review earlier this year regarding the lack of communication and all around help I received from this law office. I was promptly called by one of the lawyers looking into the review and they wanted to help me bring some sort of a solution to the situation and also asked that I take the review down. Fast forward to today after months of back and forth. I had a conversation over the phone two weeks ago with Caleb regarding the agreement that he had come to with the company suing me and assured me that he was able to get the payment owed down. I agreed to the new amount as well as down payment. He ends the call because one of the lawyers from the other firm was calling him back. I never received any other correspondence with him after that. A few days ago I received an email from a legal assistant offering the agreement to sign. On review of the agreement all the figures I had agreed on were not there. It was the same figures from before. I have called Caleb thrice as well as emailed him and I have received no response. Now I am without legal aid in trying to discern how to move forward with these people and what legal jargon I am reading and being pushed to agree to because I no longer have legal representation. I feel like I have been left high and dry. This has been an all around terrible experience and I will never use this firm again. Time and money wasted and I was offered no real help. After several phone calls and emails, the only service I got was a lack of interest and bad attitude from his legal assistant Ronni Bracken. I tried to talk with the attorney, never could. Although the service contract does not guarantee a specific result (no lawyer does), she successfully negotiated all seven to my complete satisfaction. I'm not sure how to review the services of Mr. Thomas. The people I spoke with at his office were polite, and I did email mail them all of the paperwork that I had on my case, but since I had attempted to do some of the work on my own, I was told my case was to far along and that they would prefer to start a case from the very beginning instead of 30 days before the actual court date was set for. The only person in Mr. Thomas' office that I spoke with was Ronni Bracken, and even though I emailed her copies of all my paperwork, she did not contact me, I had to call her. When I did finally speak with Mrs. Bracken again she just referred me to a different attorney that never returned my call. I know Mr. Thomas helps people that are being sued for debt issues and his schedule of fees is upfront and affordable. What I don't understand is with Mr. Thomas' winning percentage, why doesn't he take almost any case that he is presented with. Not every case is the same, but cases that deal with Junk Debt Buyers are usually winnable for both an attorney and client if paperwork is submitted from a law office. It makes the JDB realize that the person they are trying to sue is willing to fight for their rights under the FDCA. I will be honest, I appreciate what you do, and as I have said in my review you do help out lots of people in unfortunate situations. I will also say that if I had become a client I am sure that my review would have been 5 stars, unfortunately because of a lack of communication from Mrs. Bracken (she should have contacted me after reviewing my case not me calling her 2 days later only to be told to call someone else) I had to review you at 2 stars. If your office had better communicated with me, and even though not taking my case had referred me to someone that would at least return a phone call (not to mention 2 phone calls) I would have better reviewed your office. read more
