Loving Toms Adventure Pumpkin Patch! Come and enjoy in Mira Mesa
    Cassandra M.

Such amazing place! Great for families and friends! Such amazing variety for games and rides!

Meh. Typical pumpkin patch without any rides. Maybe we came too close to Halloween as all the pumpkins were old and almost rotting. Prices weren't even dropped to sell. Plenty of parking. There were a couple spots to take pictures. Other than that I would look elsewhere to take the kids as there isn't much, we ended up going to Walmart to get pumpkins and taking the kids out for fun.

    Great photo props

visited this place three times because my 6 year old had such a great time! Slide was only one ticket! We bought a $20 value pack that lasted for rides about one hour! I didn't opt for the wrist band...we would've never been able to leave! Decor was great and staff very friendly.

Awesome staff who cares about their customers and makes sure they have a great experience! We come every year and it's always the highlight for my two girls. So thankful for unlimited ride bracelet this year. Came twice because of it! Thanks for great memories as a family!

They have an extensive selection to choose from and if you don't find what you're looking for, they will help you find it. Their prices may be a little higher for some items compared to corporate stores like Home Depot but the quality justifies the price. For some other things, they are actually the lowest price. The nursery is clean and organized with plenty of workers to help assist you with picking something out, answering any questions, or helping you load things into the car. I was in and out within 15 minutes! The parking lot is plentiful so no issues there. For parents of little ones or those who love watching mini trains, they have a huge mini train track set up outside in the back by the bonsai trees. A special thank you to Codie and the entire landscaping crew - truly are the best services I have ever had done with my home. Codie took the time to understand exactly what I was trying to accomplish with my backyard and made sure every detail was handled correctly. The landscaping crew was equally impressive--professional, hardworking, respectful of my property, and incredibly meticulous with the placement and installation of every plant. You could tell they genuinely cared about how the finished project looked, not simply about getting the job done. The end result exceeded my expectations. They helped transform my backyard into something I had envisioned for a long time, and seeing it finally come together has been incredibly rewarding. They truly helped make my backyard a dream. I sincerely appreciate Codie and the entire Moon Valley team for the pride they took in my project and the quality of service they provided. When someone treats your home and landscaping as if it were their own, that deserves recognition. For anyone in San Diego looking for professional nursery, planting, or landscape installation services, I would recommend Moon Valley Nurseries without hesitation. Based on my experience, Codie and this team set the standard for what professional landscaping service should look like. Thank you again, Codie and crew, for an outstanding job and for helping turn my vision into reality.

We've always loved the vibe and selection here, but working with Jason completely changed the game for us. It's one thing to have an amazing green thumb (which he absolutely does), but Jason has a rare, uniquely brilliant talent for exterior design. We came in with a few scattered ideas for our backyard, and he instantly mapped out a cohesive, stunning visual plan that we never could have dreamed up on our own. What we appreciated most was his sheer passion. He didn't just point us toward the right aisles; he genuinely cared about the long-term success of our project. Redoing a yard is a massive investment, but Jason's expertise and enthusiasm made us feel completely confident in the decisions and investments we were making. We are so incredibly grateful for Jason and how fantastic he has been to work with. He turned what could have been an overwhelming project into an absolute joy. If you are heading to Moon Valley Nurseries, do yourself a favor and ask for Jason... he is an absolute rockstar!

I suggested that since the truck was going to the same place, maybe charging twice wasn't necessary? After talking to a manager we finally figured out a way to reduce the price. Anyway, this year when I brought a stand back for exchange I was told they wouldn't take it because the spike had come off in the tree. I get it - but when you have a stand that's been on a 12' tree you sold last year for literally hundreds of dollars, you'd think this would be an easy way to make a customer happy. So - this year I only buy one and I pay for a new stand, get home and put water in it - the stand leaks. Not great. I go back, tell them I'd at least like a stand that works if I'm going to buy a new one from them every year. They put the tree on a new stand, I get it home, it doesn't drink. This is going to be dead before Christmas. While they have a good selection and the guys helping us check out trees have been really nice, nothing is free. The stand, the delivery, everything is an upcharge and they don't value repeat clients AT ALL. We'll head somewhere else next year; they've taken their pound of flesh and we're done.

Due to a hip injury, I purchased their tree delivery and their removal service on December 8, 2023. Each one was $120. The fields to select these services didn't load properly on their website, so I had to call their LA office to place the order. The employee who helped me was nice. After the call she sent me an email to verify my address before sending me the invoice. She had the incorrect unit number in that email, so I responded and gave her the correct unit number. In that same email I asked to schedule the date for the tree removal. The removal date was scheduled for today, Jan 02, 2024. Despite that verification, the employee still communicated the wrong unit number to the tree lot in La Jolla. When my tree didn't arrive in the scheduled window, I had to call. We got to the bottom of it, and they made it right by delivering my tree right away and refunding the $120 delivery fee. Cut to today. By 12:30 PM no one came to remove the tree. I called, but no one answered the phone. I had to leave an inquiry on their website. I got a phone call shortly afterwards. During that call, I found out that, unlike the delivery, Mr. Jingle's doesn't do the removal. The company contracts that out to a third party. That wasn't disclosed at the time of purchase, and it should have been. I was then given the name and number of their contractor. When I called, it went straight to voicemail. At 2:49 PM, I got a text from someone on behalf of Mr Jingles to schedule my tree removal for tomorrow for $35. I told them that I had already paid $120 for the removal. He then told me that because I was refunded the $120 removal fee my removal was never scheduled. He had the date of the refund and the last four digits of my card. I told him this was incorrect. I was refunded for the delivery because it was botched. The removal fee was never refunded. Why would it be? It hadn't happened yet. I sent this person screenshots of the emails as proof and explained what happened. This person still insisted the removal fee was refunded, and was still expecting $35 to remove the tree. I was livid at this point. It was like the proof I had didn't matter. Then I had another thought: why did a contractor that I have never done business with know the date I received a refund and the last 4 digits of the card I used to pay? Did Mr Jingles provide that information? If so, that's questionable behavior. The only other possibility is this person works for Mr. Jingles and the company is running one hell of a scam. This person said the $35 had to be paid via Venmo or in cash. (Hmmmm.) I have attached screenshots of the entire text conversation. The texts include screenshots of proof of the botched delivery. I will be reporting Mr Jingles to the CA Attorney General. Something isn't right with them. Whoever the text came from...their tone completely changed when I mentioned Yelp and the AG. No surprise there. As for my removal, I'll have to make other arrangements. I'll be damned if I pay this company another penny for anything. I'll likely have to contact my bank to issue a chargeback for the unfulfilled removal. [January 3, 8:18 AM] The contractor sent me a text yesterday evening. My tree is scheduled to be removed today, and I will be refunded the $120 removal fee. I left the tree outside my front door, as I have to return to work today. The contractor tried to guilt me about posting this review without giving them a chance to fix the problem. If he's a separate company like he said, then why does he care? To me, this further suggests that the businesses aren't separate and I was being grifted. If they really are separate businesses, this bad review is still valid. If Mr. Jingles is going to charge $240 to deliver and remove a 4ft tree, then they better have their act together. Clearly they do not.

No problem, I understand it's policy. I drove all the way home to get my ID and returned to the store, only to then be told that I also needed a physical card because Apple Pay wasn't accepted. To make the trip worth it, I decided to pick up the carpet cleaning solution. However, when she rang me up, she somehow rang out two when I only had one. Now I'm back at the store for the third time today, and this is where I completely ran out of patience. I was told that the payment had to be made with a credit card and that my debit card could not be accepted. WOW. If this had been clearly communicated to me during my first visit, I would have had everything I needed and could have avoided making multiple unnecessary trips to the store. I asked if I could work with someone else, and thankfully another employee was able to process the transaction using my debit card without any issue. I genuinely don't know what happened here, but the entire experience was extremely frustrating and completely unnecessary. The lack of communication and inconsistent information wasted a significant amount of my time. After this experience, I will not be returning to this location. Management really needs to look into what happened because this is not the level of customer service customers should have to deal with.
