I d passingly asked her for a different size bottle of a Chateau St. Michel and instead of offering guidance she started talking down to me about the cost and which type I would be purchasing. She was just nasty and she knows it. I will never return to this place again nor will I allow anyone to purchase anything from here for me. There are too many places to purchase wine, bring your money elsewhere.

They also have a great selection of hard liquors, with many not found in other stores in the area. I managed to find a few more bottles to add to my purchase as I explored, and the nice lady at the register was friendly and helpful when I asked about a brand I didn't see (she knew exactly where it was - right down to the number of spaces from the end of the shelf!) The best is they open at 9am, which means I can stop by on my way home from the gym if I need something, instead of planning a separate trip out when the other stores open at 10am. Every once in a while we would get a four pack of a beer that we buy often and the taste would be slightly off. I alway attributed this to the way it was shipped. Hot/cold trucks. This has happened with a few of our regular beers like Beer'd Dogs & Boats & King Sue as well as a couple others. When I went in early this AM I found out why, they had stocked the shelves with beers from the cooler! They were actually sweating there on the shelf. I don't know about you, But when I'm paying 16-22$ a FOUR pack. I expect the place I'm buying it from to treat it with respect. When I checked out (no beer! Just booze) I had mentioned it to somebody up front. I was laughed at and told it's a myth that beer chemistry changes when it goes from cold to hot them back to cold. COME ON GUYS!! I don't even let that happen at my house!!! And a liquor store saying that is shocking! For example, Toppling Goliath has a beer KIng Sue. When you go to Glenro it is sold from boxes off the floor. Not chilled. It says on the box it is a live beer keep cool. I was told by the guys at Glenro that is BS they just write it to get cooler space. And they receive the beer warm. If you call the brewery they will tell you it has active yeast in it so if it's temp gets higher than 73 or so the yeast will die and change the flavor. They ship all their King Sue out cold & expect it to stay cold until you buy it. When I am buying good beer, I want it to taste the way it was brewed to taste. Not the way Glenro wants it to taste.

I knew from Kindred Spirits that 90+ was a nice wine to drink and cook. I was also looking for a red. I've been losing my taste for red wines. I've always bought Woodbridge, Mondavi and Josh. K.S. recommended Trecciaia Toscana. It's from Italy. Very nice wine. Not fruity or red blend. It's a nice pairing with cheese and steak dinner. I do a lot of cooking and baking. K.S. has helped me come up with different desserts just by suggesting a liquor. I highly recommend K.S. for all entertaining needs

So caution at night and weekends when the bar will be busy ENTRANCE - it is bigger inside than it looks from the outside VINO SELECTIONS - I came to check out their wine options. For moderate to higher end options the choices are limited. Many more options for the lower quality blends etc. SERVICE - the fellow at the check out was very nice and congenial. The other Trumbull local place by stop and shop will recommend and give suggestions. This place is more self service I guess PRICES - pretty much average for the area, but more pricey than let's say Bridgeport for the same bottles I didn't look at the beer and hard liquor sections as I'm too old to deal with those hangovers - LOL
