Combo Hibachi Steak and Shrimp, yum!

Great service, family friendly and delicious food. Entertainment and a meal, all in one! Chill spot, that offers good selection of cocktails and drinks. No dessert options besides vanilla ice cream.

We wanted to try this restaurant for Valentine's Day. Let me start this review talking about the outside part of the restaurant, it's very very dark and uninviting. The parking situation is very limited due to the fact it's in the middle of a neighborhood/main road area. Moving inside the restaurant, you walk in and it's a friendly feeling as you're greeted right away and if you have reservations you will be sat right away! When it comes to the soup and salad they were just very basic nothing to special about them. When it comes to the actual meal holy crap!! It blew my mind, the flavor was amazing and I would eat it over and over again!! I'll definitely recommend this restaurant

This is one of those spots you drive all the time, but with the dark exterior and tinted windows you can't see inside, so we never gave it a try... Until we finally did! After the suggestion of friends, we stopped by. It is suggested to make a reservation because they can book up quickly. Love the presentation and the food was amazing. I would not suggest the Tokyo tea. Not much alcohol, but a lot of sweetness.

I really like this place, I think their food tastes good and the servers are very friendly. I would recommend getting the filet mignon over the normal steak though, it's much more tender and flavorful. I would also recommend their vegetable tempura.

I had planned a date night with my wife for a concert in the park, but when we got to the park it was just a bunch of kids playing soccer. Turns out the concert was last night...no, this isn't the first time I've done this. We decided to try something new and my wife picked this place randomly off Yelp. When we pulled up it was about 6:45pm and it looked like it was closed. We walk in and no one is at the counter. I poke my head around the corner and see no customers, just a woman sitting. She comes and politely greets us and seats us at a table. No one is in the restaurant...like not a single customer. I'm extremely skeptical at this point. My wife says we can go somewhere else if I like. I hemmed and hawed a little, but said nah let's try it. Worst case is we have a story to tell about a bad experience. We place our order, very reasonably priced. The cook comes over with his cart to make the food. He's a jovial guy, with a good sense of humor. Makes small talk and puts on a good display. The food at this point is smelling good. I gotta tell you, this food was incredible! Absolutely delicious! So much better than I expected!!! And so much food too. I've got lunch for tomorrow. This place was 45 minutes away from my home and we will be back without a doubt!! Once again I am taught a valuable lessons...don't judge a book by its cover...

All the appetizers were supposed to be shrimp, so may have been better to let us know before they seated us and not wait for an hour to tell us ? Not surprisingly, we had to leave. It also felt a tad too smoky in there - not great ambience. Although I must say, they did not charge us for the drinks that we'd ordered, so there's that. It's sad to write this sort of review but people should know, and hopefully ownership recognizes this and changes for the better! Try Tokyo Table if you're craving something similar in the meantime.

I was around the area and thought it might be nice to grab something from here to have on my way home. I forgot how busy they are; people were waiting for a table and people were waiting to be put on the waitlist. I patiently waited my turn to get to the front to ask if I could make a to-go order. Yes, yes they do, but it would be at the bar. Went to the bar, waited a couple of minutes to be acknowledged, then was transferred over to the lady at the sushi area. Apparently, they have a designated to-go person. After chatting with the to-go lady, it was smooth sailing afterward. I ordered something easy to eat - steak fried rice (serves 2) $21.00, add egg $2.00, add chicken $2.00 and the grand total was $25.00. Waited a little bit for my order to be cooked and packed ~10-15 minutes. The portions were decent and fed the 2 of us. Fried rice was okay; it was a bit on the greasy side and did not have much flavor, very bland. Thank goodness, she gave me some teriyaki sauce to go with my dinner, or else it would have been a sad dinner. There is plenty of parking, shared with other shops, but it could be tight. By ordering to-go, I felt like I bypassed the wait. It wasn't a bad experience, but I was expecting the food to be tastier. But then again, this was my first time ordering to-go here. Staff were friendly.

Everything was going well. Chef came out and was okay. Definitely not the best we've had, but the food was good. Had to ask twice to get the bill. The restuarant had a couple more grills going, but still not busy by industry standards. Finally got the bill and they've added a $42 tip, for a "large" group. 5 people is not a large group, especially considering their grills seat 12 people and they always clump different groups together. I could understand if they were having to push tables together and it was taking a server's entire section up, but that's not how this place operates. When I inquired about where it's posted that this is standard practice, I was only showed the bill, which we had to ask for twice before seeing it. I normally tip 15-20% depending on quality of service; however, forcing a tip on me becuase there's 5 of us is theft. 1 of our group didn't even order a meal. We won't be going back to be robbed again. Edit - After calling and speaking with the so called manager, I was told that the automatic gratuity is standard and there's no one above her that I could speak with no matter where or who I called. No corporate, no owner, just her. She also told me that they were short staffed on this particular evening, which is more grounds to not expect $42 tip, when service is lacking due to lack of staff. I've worked in this industry for 30 years. I know how much staff rely on tips, but this isn't the way. I may have left a $50 tip, if it was earned, but not when it's forced and especially not when it's forced and not earned. Manager told me they'd refund half my tip and I wasn't welcome back. Bye
