They speak English, they had great customer service and it was all you can eat which is what earned them at least the 2 stars in my opinion. The food however earned them nothing. I LOVE sushi, so the idea of all you can eat sushi sounds great right? Wrong, for 17.90 euros your definitely getting what your paying for. An unlimited supply of rice, miso soup, meat skewers with ALOT of fat on them (I'm going to be honest, I have no idea how you can have so much fat in a grilled Samson and chicken skewer- but they managed to make it happen).
Anyway, I digress- what's the sushi like your asking right? The sushi is OVERLY RICE HEAVY and sushi light. The tuna was almost like mash potatoes- I really don't know how they made that happen but lesson learned. And for desert you have to pay a little extra. In all, for the sake of keeping you from your food any longer I'll end with this. In Metz, there are far better places to get some sushi at a fair price that you will actually enjoy, but if you don't mind paying almost 20 euros for all you can eat rice rolls, and appreciate customer service over quality of food, Toki is your place. read more
