I live near Banbury and needed to get some leather motorcycle trousers altered. I emailed the shop…read moreto ask if they could do it and get a quote and they replied with all the info I needed. Tiny shop, but very talented and helpful people. A week later the trousers were ready and they did a great job. The stitching that they did (to taper the bottom of the legs down a bit) is indistinguishable from the originals, and they tapered the lining to match too. Excellent, and I will be using them again. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Quality work.

This little shop never fails to disappoint with its window displays - they always make an effort…read more It is a fairly traditional alteration shop and they don't mess around - if they don't think something will work, they'll tell you. I've made enquiries here on a couple occasions about getting dresses altered and sleeves shortened. It has always surprised me that such alterations aren't exactly cheap. I guess having a Mom gifted in sewing has spoilt me somewhat! They clearly know what they are doing and I'm sure that they do a brilliant job. The shop feels a bit like a throw back to days when people made do and mended - with an old sewing machine permanently on display. I guess you can't scrimp when it comes to craftsmanship.
