She graciously gave us change and showed us how to use the big machines so that we could get washing done as quickly as possible. My husband was largely in control as I has a blow dry appointment a few blocks away. He could never have done things so speedily if she hadn't guided him through it. She was WONDERFUL and the facility was so clean and well organized. This wonderful English town has a gem in the Laundry Quarter. We were spoiled as our second laundry experience in another town a week later, was not nearly as good. We sure hope The Laundry Quarter is still open next year when we come back!

Tiny shop, but very talented and helpful people. A week later the trousers were ready and they did a great job. The stitching that they did (to taper the bottom of the legs down a bit) is indistinguishable from the originals, and they tapered the lining to match too. Excellent, and I will be using them again. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Quality work.

The proprietor was kind and cheerful, and respectful of the "convincing" that still needed to take place on my grandparents side. EIS took our laundry on Tuesday night, delivered it back on Friday, clean and ironed!! I wish I had this service at home!

We trust them, far more than the standard branded chain of cleaners, to deal with strange stains and to iron clothes so you don't suffer that unfashionable triple knife edge crease and curiously bubbly interfacing. They know what they are doing. They take care. They are polite to customers, and they know what urgent means - though they do a better job when allowed to work to their schedule. In the case of the melon liqueur soaked silk outfit - that's a week for standard care or they'd have tried to rush it in two days but wouldn't have been happy about results.
