On…read morethe phone they quoted me $375 before tax to swap speakers and add sound dampening to my truck. ($250 for the speaker swap on all doors and $125 for one hour labor on the sound dampening). I go to pick it up and they charged me for 3.5 hours on the sound dampening labor. What I thought was going to be a $400 bill was $750. Besides that the work looks to be quality and what I was looking for, but they need to learn how to quote their prices correctly.

The gentleman wrote A proposal for over $1200. $350 was to install a system into a boat that already had a system. $250 was labor, $100 was the service call. That seemed pretty steep considering the easy access. When I researched the components online I found a significant price difference. For example the sub woofer was $300 at Glissons and $179 on Amazon. Pretty much the same difference in the other components hat would add up to a significant cost difference. With that kind of a difference I would expect installation to be offset just a bit. The reality is they can charge whatever they want for their equipment and labor, however for me it just didn't make sense and so I give it two stars.
