I've used their acupuncture/cupping/fire cupping service with Kristen who I enjoyed building my rapport with. She's really personable and it was easy for me to like her as my practitioner. I've had several session with Dr. Maya as well to help me with some hip/neck issue. The front desk staff takes your temperature before you sign in and they sanitize the pens/high touch surface frequently. I've never had any issues with them that is inaccessible to my deafness. They have been so accommodating during my visits and in communicating re: emailing instead of calling. This review reminds me that it's time to reschedule with them!

The facility is beautiful inside and out. I have not had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen after getting check in as soon as I walk in. They are a little flexible with their appointments - I was scheduled to work one day I had an early appointment set && they had no problem changing my appointment to later in the day. So convenient. (Mind you, they do have a fee for cancelation within 24hours OR no shows, so idk if they always approve the switches on such short notice.) I called this acupuncture clinic to ask about treatment options and coverage (they were listed on…read moremy insurance provider's website as a preferred clinic). The clinic told me what it would cost without insurance and I told them it was more than I could afford at that time. They said they understood and would check on my insurance coverage for me and let me know, so I gave them all my info and left them to it. When I didn't get a call back, I didn't think much of it (I was busy...lots of medical stuff going on) and assumed all was okay. I showed up for my appointment and they had me complete all their forms, but said nothing about any lack of coverage. As soon as I finished with my appointment, the front desk person informed me that my insurance wasn't going to cover anything and I had to pay the originally quoted price (the same amount that I told them I couldn't afford...it included a large "new patient" fee in addition to the treatment amount). They clearly knew this before my appointment and just neglected to tell me. When I told them about my previous phone conversation with their staff, their response was "we don't know who you spoke with" and "we've had a lot of turnover recently" (in less than 2 weeks since making the appointment?? Really?) and blamed me for not calling my insurance directly. I left feeling totally scammed and broke (down about 5 weeks' worth of grocery money).

I was sent to Brian Y. for acupuncture because our schedule mesh well. The first session, Brian took his time getting to know me and we talked about everything! His treatment room is comfortable and chill, Brian is a person with warm demeanor- he's now my favorite and I don't really want to share him with anyone else I also see Dr. Morris, we do active release therapy and it has HELPED me regain some ROM in my neck.
