It was a total disaster I paid over $8000 upfront which was a huge mistake . After going through the excruciating pain of the initial surgery I waited 4-6 months which is very common to have the implants put in There were many X-rays done and I was assured that everything was well . After another 4 months I went back to have the caps to the implants taken off to prepare for the teeth. While taking off the caps one of the implants came out and it had to be replaced . So another surgery and another 3-4 months for the healing process I had more X-rays done to have the proper teeth fit the implants . I could go on and on After approximately 18 months the 2 implants and teeth were finished . That was only the beginning of the problem . I went to another dentist for a cleaning and was told I had an infection due to the improper placing of the implants. There was not enough space for the 2 of them . I had to have 2 adjoining good teeth pulled because the implants caused extreme bone loss . I had to start all over again . I called Dr Greco and told him what was going on and asked for my money back which he was going to back to me I waited 2 weeks and was told I had to sue him and Dr Lanzetta to get my money back I went to a specialist to have the implants put in and due to the bone loss had to have gum surgery and other operations. It was awful. I wouldn't have this done to my worst enemy . I had to pay over $25000 in additional cost to correct what Hartsdale family dentistry did to me I have not received a penny from Hartsdale Family Dentistry . I posted a similar review on Yelp after finding out about my infection and was astonished to find out it was taken down . Apparently if you pay Yelp you can have a negative review taken down In conclusion DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST . I hope this review isn't taken down

When I inquired why my account was deactivated, she stated it was because I was upset about the cost of fillings and had said I wouldn't return. This is not accurate. During my first visit, I received a full-mouth X-ray and a teeth cleaning from a dentist (not Dr. Avanzato). The dentist reviewed the X-rays, said everything looked good, and recommended a return visit in six months. Before leaving the exam room, I asked about fillings to address a gap in my upper teeth due to receding gums. The dentist directed me to the front desk, where I received a quote that seemed exorbitant. I mentioned that my previous dentist had billed my insurance plan and co-pay for significantly less and indicated I wouldn't get the work done there. The receptionist was not present during my consultation with the dentist. Despite my corrections, the receptionist continued to claim I had refused treatment. I ended the conversation because it was unproductive. After this, I decided not to return to the practice and went to retrieve my dental records. The receptionist claimed she had already emailed a copy of my records and mailed a letter on the same day of my service. I never received either. She again insisted I needed two fillings, which I hadn't requested. I asked her to just send me the records. Later that day, I received an email with a copy of my X-rays and a note that a duplicate letter had been mailed. Two days later, I received a letter, dated the day of my service, stating that I would be better served by seeking another dentist due to a breakdown in the doctor-patient relationship. I had already decided to seek another dentist, but this situation makes me question who makes decisions at this practice, the dentist or the receptionist, who seemed to be providing misleading and inaccurate information.

They have performed a root canal on either the tooth Dr. Chiao treated, or an adjacent one, I'm not sure which. Recently, he complained of pain in the area and a dentist at the provider told us that he needed a root canal on a tooth they would have a problem getting to and recommended Dr. Chiao for him. I made an appointment and we went to see her, for what was supposed to be just a preliminary visit, yesterday. As soon as the doctor looked at his X-ray, she discovered that my son had a major abscess that needed immediate attention. Instead of an initial visit followed by a series of treatments, she got immediately to work on him. During the process, she vacillated between the possibility of requiring three visits or powering through the work she was doing and keeping it to two. Ultimately, she completed what she started yesterday and we will only have to make one more visit. So, he was in the chair for nearly 90 minutes for what was occasionally very painful work. I remained in the room with them for the duration of the treatment. Obviously, I can't say from personal experience, but from close observation I can say that that Dr. Chiao was as gentle as she could be and did everything possible to help my son through the procedure. She completed the work she started, obviating the need for an additional visit, which we really appreciated. A day later and my son is pain free. Can't ask for more than that. From watching her work and interact with her assistant and my son and seeing the interim results, I have concluded that she is a terrific dentist. No one wants to have endodontic treatment, but if you need it, she would be an excellent choice and I am happy to recommend her.

Her rush in and saying emergency, emergency concluding that I needed a root canal, the situation disallowed me to make a clear decision. I was in her office for over three hours or more which is questionable. After a week the pain intensified so bad that she insisted I needed second root canal on tooth 30# which never hurt me. I never once complained about to my dentist. Dr. Chiao promised me and my mother for me to get out of the pain I needed second root canal. As a result of two root canals and multiple Novocain injections into the gums performed in her office, everything I learned about my Neuropathic facial pain Trigeminal Neuralgia. Not every patient can take multiple root canals procedures in a short duration.

The office is always spotless, well-run, and equipped with modern technology, which makes every visit feel efficient and up to date. The hygienists are fantastic - experienced, thorough, and consistently the same familiar faces over the years, which says a lot about the practice and the culture. I also completed Invisalign here and felt well cared for throughout the process. Dr. Cardo and Dr. Olivieira are the kind of dentists you hope to find: warm, patient, and genuinely attentive. They explain things clearly, never rush, and they're refreshingly thoughtful in their approach. If something seems minor, they're willing to monitor it and see whether it resolves instead of immediately pushing treatment just to bill insurance. That level of integrity is rare. On a personal note, years ago I lost my husband in a tragedy that was covered publicly in the news. At my next routine visit, they had a plant waiting for me. I will never forget that kindness. I recommend this practice without hesitation - professional, modern, compassionate care from a team that truly remembers and values their patients.

I went on a consult for me and my son; I emphasized that I was in pain and my son could get infected if he did not have a tooth extracted. Initially the staff at the front desk were polite however as time progressed they did not get back to me on the status of my authorization; up until now, over two months! At one point I called and the rep that answered the phone asked me if I received Medicaid; although I said no, I then understood the reason for the rude behavior. In this day and age it is sad to see profiling of any sort. I was constantly told that they had submitted the paperwork for authorization although upon calling the insurance company directly several times and even getting the insurance company to call them directly to assist in submitting the paperwork, I was told that nothing was submitted. This was confirmed with my last call to the office as the rep who answered said paperwork was not submitted. During this time the rep that handle insurance stopped taking my calls. I then received a letter saying they no longer would be accepting my insurance after October; in theory however I am still technically waiting for this authorization as we are not yet in October and based on our last conversation they have submitted all paperwork more than once; all of this is a lie! This company lacks empathy or integrity; I went to two separate locations for the consultations wasting my time and energy. Ironically it was my intention to have my implant done at this company whereas I would have paid full rate but it appears money, and the perception of money, is more important to them than professional empathetic and highly moraled behavior.

BE AWARE, they will double bill the patient and insurance company the same AMOUNT! Base on your insurance info, they first will ESTIMATE how much you pay at the office visits, the estimate is 10X of the amount you actually need to pay. If your copay is only $25/$35, they will still make you pay full at the office and bill insurance company the same! And it will take months (and I'm still waiting) for them to refund you the money, and bill your other visits and use it as a credit (excuse not to refund). They will argue everything and get so impatient and seems to act all legit but extremely unethical. Money comes first before patients, ASSHOLES!! (by the way, I had my wisdom tooth removed, Hendi was very good, but he is no longer there) On a separate issue, I was going to get nightguard from them due to my TMJ pain (from grinding), but had my doubts about them so I didn't want to make appointments until they get me an insurance estimate. They told me insurance DOESNT cover at ALL and say doc will give me a discount. So, I called insurance myself and they say it will cover 80% under teeth grinding and apparently, the doc didn't put that as the diagnosis code. I called TWICE to the office to speak to the doc about the type of guard they are getting (I'm assuming it might be different, and I would be ok to get it if it is a better guard). NO phone calls back, and I waited 2 weeks in between which wasted a month on them. One occasion when I called, the front desk even argued with me about my diagnosis code without asking who I was, so much for putting Patients' interest first. If you don't have a choice about your doctors, make sure you don't pay anything to them, just WALKOUT! What they gonna do? They can't handcuff you!!!
