Not bad rental agency overall, usually trying to be helpful, but stay away from manager named Clinton - he is the the worst in there!

Robyn was our listing…read moreagent, our second one because our first was an old friend who does real estate as a side gig, so he introduced me to Robyn and then she took the listing knowing we had a short timeline. From the beginning she was pushy and wanted us to take the first offer that came along, even though it was extremely low. We declined it. The second offer that came was "asking price" but they wanted a laundry list of items that we verbally declined. I got a phone call from Robyn one evening as I was pulling into church, she was yelling at me that if we did not take the deal she was going to pull her sign our of our yard and leave us as our agent. (She was self admittedly out with old friends, and she sounded like she had been drinking.) The buyers wanted our producing mineral rights, $3,500 in closing costs, amoung other things including our window treatmemts in ever room. (Mind you this woman, as the listing agent, sent me a text message while showing our house one day because she couldn't figure out that the doorbell in the hallway wasn't a light fixture.) When I told her it wasn't enough and we needed to get more out of the house she gave me an ultimatum, their we take the deal or she would leave us, even with a contact in place. She also pulled our many sob stories of her being on WELFARE, her family being in jail for murder, and how she was on the front page of the paper for being run over by a car, amoung many other uncomfortable stories to make it so unbearable to work with her you will accept any offer to force you into a financial hole just to get away from her. She also tried to interject herself into our new house deal, by calling me and stating that it was money we were never going to see anyway. I asked her what she possibly had to offer us since we were working directly with the builder, and she rattled on some junk about negotiatings, even though the entire deal was already negotiated. She was highly unprofessional in the closing room, and left abruptly after we signed the paperwork while we were all still seated, saying "Bye Stormbreakers", leaving me, my husband, the attorney and even her secretary on the room bewildered. The $3,500 closing costs hurt us bad, and we are still trying to find money in our budget to pay off one of our bills but at least we are rid of Robyn. Apparently, she even tried to have this review taken down. I still have all of the conversations on file and text messages stored away if any of you need proof. She will try and play the victim and give the public a half truth. Sellers beware she does more the the buyers even if she is a listing agent.

We were told that things were included in the price of the house by our realtor when they were not. The owner of Heritage Realty offered us a small payment, which was thousands less than the mistakes cost us, but then she never sent it to us! We were pressured into closing before the previous owners were fully moved out, something I voiced concerns about to my realtor but she said "people do it all the time, it won't be a problem." Then it turned out there were damaged areas that we never saw prior to closing and then her comments were "all real estate sales are as is" and "well that is usually caught during the final walk through." Needless to say, our new home cost us a lot more than it should have! I will think long and hard before using a realtor again which is a shame because I have worked with other realtors in the past and never had this problem.
