We have really enjoyed being introduced to the Montessori educational philosophy through Sudbury Montessori. The teachers send home photos at the end of each week so we can see our childrens' days in action. They have a lot of opportunities to be creative during the day - our daughter loves painting and gets to do a lot of that. We've also been impressed with their sanitation and organization during COVID-19. We have never once felt vulnerable or exposed thanks to the precautions they've taken and the communication around it. The kids' schedule involves a lot of outside play time and exploring, which is so important to us and not something that every pre-school does. The staff makes themselves available at drop-off and pick-up for any questions, and they're also just a quick phone call away. All in all we are pleased with this sweet little school and would recommend them.

My older son has graduated from Weston Wing (now in K), and he grew so much over the past three years. He is now completely ready for Kindergarten thanks to his amazing teachers! I do wish he could have had another year at Weston Wing, in their new TK (Transitional Kindergarten) program, especially since a long-time Weston public school (K) teacher is teaching that class. The teachers are all caring and extremely attentive, ensuring every student gets the attention she/he needs. The director is always on top of everything, and gets to know each and every single student and their families very well. The facilities are amazing, and they had a major renovation done in classrooms. Everything is clean and sparkling! Their new playground is perfect for the kids, huge, and away from the street, nicely tucked in. They do ask for donations, but it's a non-profit, so they would need donations to help with having more facilities for our own children! Donations are obviously completely voluntary, but we witnessed how the money went directly into making better playgrounds and classrooms. We toured many other daycares/preschools before we settled on Weston Wing, and I have to say, it was love at first sight! The caring people, the atmosphere, the clean environment, and just everything was what we had hoped for. A huge plus for us is their flexibility with our schedules, and being able to add hours if something comes up. With both of us working, this has been an added bonus for us! Thank you Weston Wing for making our kids (and us) so happy! So happy that my youngest one drove us nuts over the long weekend because he wanted to go to school! We are VERY lucky to be a part of your family!

The school embraces the well researched and documented play- based curriculum. As opposed to sitting in front of a computer screen, or name-writing drills, Weston Wing students learn through age appropriate play and STEM based activities. All 4 of our children have attended Weston Wing. Our oldest has been so well prepared for kindergarten that their teacher has commented on their preparedness, abilities and successes in the classroom. The school campus is unmatched, not only have the classrooms been recently renovated, but the outdoor space is incredible - a brand new climbing structure, swing set, large playhouse, expansive sand area, hard top for riding activities, and a great hill for winter "sledding". Healthy snacks are provided to all of the children in the morning and in the afternoon and always include fresh fruit and/or veggies. In addition, the school has a garden where many different vegetables and herbs are planted, cared for and enjoyed by the students. We researched many different schools for our children and Weston Wing's pricing is right in line with (and often less expensive than) nearby schools. As a non-profit organization they offer optional opportunities for donations. The children and the school community as a whole benefit from any and all donations (i.e. playground updates, special programs such as aquarium visits, etc). At no time have we EVER felt pressured to contribute! We feel so lucky to have found Weston Wing. Not only have our children learned from the most caring and experienced team of teachers (& Director) I've ever seen, they have also blossomed socially. They have formed many close friendships that will last into elementary school and beyond!! What more could you possibly ask for?

There is very little turnover at the school, and most of the teachers have long tenures, which I really value. The teachers have a wonderful camaraderie among themselves and the positive energy is palpable. It's a very warm and inviting environment, and you can feel the care that is put into running the facility and giving the children the most enriching experience possible. We love the curriculum, and I continue to be amazed at what they learn and the fun projects they bring home for us. We want our boys to feel like they have a second home there, and we can tell from their behavior that they are very happy and comfortable at school. The staff is always very communicative if there are issues, and always happy to answer any questions we have. We love it there!

All staff has been working in the center for a long time I believe on my tour the director said the newest staff member is going on their 3rd year being there. My child gets curriculum based activities throughout every day and the teachers and directors help my child at her own pace and help her understand the activity and project and unit in ways she can understand. This is also a small center and it is very warm and welcoming the center makes me feel that going to work with my child at this center is like her second home. In the infant room my child took her first steps and really enjoyed the sensory play they do. In toddlers she really loved the playground and the activities that the teachers put together. Before my child went to the preschool room the preschool teachers would see her and me at pick up and drop off and talk to us letting my daughter get use to them on her terms in her own way before being in their classroom the infant and toddler teachers make sure to come say hi to us and talk to her about how big she is getting. This made me feel very happy to be able to know that my child is in awesome and loving hands and that each teacher cares for my child even when she isn't in their classroom. The curriculum is very unique they teach the children the unit and the younger friends work on learning their colors and shapes while the older friends are learning Spanish and their letters. This center also provides breakfast, lunch and snack which is an amazing thing because I know my child will get all of her nutritions she needs for the day. Each playground is fun and exciting and the photos I get throughout the day warm my heart on hard days at work. I know when my child comes home tired and wood chips and paint all over that she had a FANTASTIC day.

My children are young (2 and 4), so it's my first school encounter as a parent, and I know the bar has been set incredibly high. The children are nurtured and deeply cared for by amazing, highly qualified and empathetic teachers who lead by example. Oak Meadow students (my own and those that I've observed of all ages) are independent thinkers who are considerate, respectful, and supportive of one another. It's so refreshing to witness! Oak Meadow is a very special learning environment - we looked at many preschools in the area, and are consistently impressed with Oak Meadow's curriculum, teachers, and community.

It has helped him develop a sound foundation in all aspects of academic learning while providing him the right kind of social and emotional support necessary for well rounded development. He has gone onto thrive in a highly competitive high school program with no issues. The personal attention and care that he received from his teachers all through his years at the school has a lot to do with this success. We have been so happy with his progress that we had no hesitation to start his younger brother in the same program a few years ago and we have been very happy with how well he is thriving at the school. Combine that with a tiny playground, not a lot of indoor space, and you do not have a great situation.
