This boy was rude and had no manners. Claimed I wasn't 21 because I didn't look like it. I'm 23. He looked at me like I was stupid and started insulting me. I walked out empty handed when usually I walk out with more than I came for. This is the kind of service that makes me not want to come ever again, and I'm greatly considering doing just that. Unless the owner is there do not go in it's not worth the harassment. I would not have this person working for me and driving my customers away while I'm not there.

The employees are so kind and helpful. I love their displays and the variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The only thing that frustrates me, is their coupons. They say if you buy 3 bottles of wine you get a 15 percent coupon. But, when you get to the register they won't validate the coupon because they are not winery direct wines. I think that is misleading. But, given their huge variety of wines and beers, the great customer service, and the great prices... I know I will be back.

Unless you are a member ($1,500/yr) you can't bring anything to eat or drink into the shop and they sell nothing. I'm not a cigar newbie. I understand the need for cutting fees and minimum purchases but a $50 minimum purchase on cigars to sit in a tiny lounge and not be allowed to have a drink seems unreasonable. Staff was rude, condescending, and unhelpful. When asking about this I was dismissively told to leave the shop and go to one of the local bars.

They describe their shop as having: "vapes, kratom, hookah, glass water pipes, cigarettes, disposable vapes & juices, CBD for animals, and more" It is very clear when you walk inside where everything is, and that they have a wide variety of everything they advertise. I haven't asked the owner, but if there's a specific product you like, I'm sure he would be willing to research & consider stocking it. The "and more" part of the store description is especially fun, as they have all sorts of miscellaneous things to buy, like posters and little knick-knacks from different sub-cultures (e.g., anime, everyday carry). You can wander around the store for quite a while and there will be plenty to catch your eye. When you're ready to purchase or have a question, the owner, Ali, will take care of you at the front counter. He is an amazingly friendly gentleman--truly customer-focused--and brings a wonderfully positive energy to the local businesses in our neighborhood. Whether you're a neighborhood local, or a traveler stopping in from afar, I highly recommend taking the time to visit Diamond Lake Tobacco & Vape.
