I collect vintage Christmas ornaments (old school satin pushpin style), and there is an amazing vendor at the flea who stocks them in spades! I almost don't want to share that as I want to keep that secret to myself so I can get my favorites every time. She is so kind and even let me dig through her back stock for ones not on display yet. Next month is the Christmas flea and y'all know I'll be back! Check it out.

Maybe they should advertise more?! The addition of a few food and beverage trucks is nice . Selection and value of goods is as expected at a flea market. Come look around- they may have just what you are looking for g for! Parking is $10 but if you live within walking distance it's free.

They provide carts for shopping, which is really nice if you have mobility issues and need something to hold on to while walking. I could spend hours in there under cooler temps. I would recommend that if you are sensitive to the heat to choose a cooler time of the year to go shopping here. Today is August 23rd and even though it was an inside flea market it was very warm in there, very little air conditioning or air movement at all. The other thing I would like to add is pay attention to whether the booth you are buying from is running a sale. One of my items was supposed to be 20% off but you have to let the cashier know about each booth sale or apparently you won't get the posted discount. This was my first time shopping here, so I wasn't aware of that and missed getting my discount. Overall it's a great place to find unique items and fun to see all the old things from the past.

We have been here a couple of times to treasure hunt and always enjoy my visit…read more I have found several interesting pieces of furniture that I may go back and purchase. Also being near a military base they have as much military clothing as most Army/Navy stores. I did a little bit of haggling as I always tend to do at yard sales and flea markets. The owner was into it and seemed to enjoy the haggle. Another thing I am always looking for at places like this is cast iron cookware. The selection was not huge but they did have a good selection. If you have never been, you should give it a try. There is another place next door to this one however it is more set up as an antique store where different people have booths or sections.

This East Nashville neighborhood market houses many local vendors showcasing vintage memorabilia of…read moreall shapes and sizes. In between you'll also find local artisan makers of apparel, jewelry, and experimental designs. Obviously this is located in the Five Points neighborhood. I'm not a local, so travelers might find this useful. It's placed between I Dream Of Weenie and a small coffeehouse. If I had to guess, the market is only open Saturdays. And since it's outdoors, I'd assume weather permitting. This is a great place to walk around, chat with local merchants, and browse in a low-key environment. I personally enjoyed flipping through the used records and the "Junk Punk" section. My lady could've spent hours here. She found a bracelet she liked and as a good boyfriend, I purchased it for her. I wish I remember the name of the business, the woman who rang us up was incredibly friendly! Glad to have thrown up a Yelp page for Five Points Street Market. Support local, East Nashville!
