There's a coffee shop outside in a camper, I didn't get to try it today but I'm sure it's delicious. Staff were super sweet too! Will be back to find more bits and pieces in the future!

It's already been said but is worth repeating--this place has a great mixture of vintage items as well as new retail items such as clothing, dog clothes, stationery, etc. There are items from many various resellers, and the prices vary--there is plenty of reasonably priced merchandise, and items both big and small! The person at the cash register was super friendly and helpful, and even pointed me the in direction of a local market that was happening at the same time. This shop is absolutely worth a stop if you're in the area!

In between you'll also find local artisan makers of apparel, jewelry, and experimental designs. Obviously this is located in the Five Points neighborhood. I'm not a local, so travelers might find this useful. It's placed between I Dream Of Weenie and a small coffeehouse. If I had to guess, the market is only open Saturdays. And since it's outdoors, I'd assume weather permitting. This is a great place to walk around, chat with local merchants, and browse in a low-key environment. I personally enjoyed flipping through the used records and the "Junk Punk" section. My lady could've spent hours here. She found a bracelet she liked and as a good boyfriend, I purchased it for her. I wish I remember the name of the business, the woman who rang us up was incredibly friendly! Glad to have thrown up a Yelp page for Five Points Street Market. Support local, East Nashville!

Rusty Rats is a picker's paradise, or a great place for a lookie-loo like me who loves vernacular ephemera. The prices are not bad for a shop located at the Fatherland District, and they're all random amounts. For instance, a vintage recipe clipping will set you back $1.97. The service is non-existent here, which is fine by me, because I prefer to just browse and not make small talk. A TV on the wall was playing a National Lampoon movie while I was there.

The blocks occupied feel like its own little community in the middle of the bigger city. It definitely has it's own vibe and is uniquely East Nashville. When we are in East, we normally make it point to stop in a shop or two. International Coffee, Galena Garlic and Adobe Mercantile are usually spots we frequent when wandering around, and Gift Horse is a cool place for a quirky or local gift for folks. Food wise, Maru and East Creamery are always on point and hit the spot! Hours of each shop differ, so make sure you look specifically at the hours of the places you want to visit. There is no real consistency amongst the shops from an overall hours perspective, which can be a tad frustrating. Parking is a bit wonky as well, nothing really dedicated at all times.
