Many thanks to the fellows at Tuan Auto repair for saving me by referring me to Tony and his great…read moreson. They are WONDERFUL calm low key serious gracious men. They really listen and they help and work with you. My beloved 1996 bright red Tahoe died luckily not on a highway so I had it towed from home to their shop. I explained to them that my husband JUST started a new consulting job ( lucky to find one at age 70!) just 5 weeks ago, and we would not have the serious funds to pay for this (3rd) transmission for 4-5 weeks. What also helped was that Tuan's owners could vouch for our honesty our character since my daughter has been a loyal customer for 5 years. It always pays to find these small family owned businesses. Stay with them. I bring them hot lunch, pies, and many times a meal for their staff ( past companies I have worked with ) at Christmas with a case of their favorite beer!!! But for Tony and his son I brought Four outstanding HOT ( temp) FRESHly prepared super dishes from Peking Garden! As my thank you for their great kindness and patience.

Kirby and the crew are great. They have done a number of repairs for both of our vehicles and I…read morewill definitely continue to return. The technicians are top notch. They are respectful of your time, and do their best to get you in and out quickly. But the best part about the team is that they are reasonable. They will diagnose a problem, layout all available options for you, discuss pros and cons of each one relative to your situation, and figure out the solution with you. They won't automatically push the most drastic (and expensive) one. Another thing I like is that they don't mark up parts outrageously like some other places. I always feel like I'm taken advantage of if I go to a place that doubles the price of a part I know they are getting from a parts place down the road. Sure, I can object and maybe get the price down, but I don't want to have to do that. And if the car isn't drivable, I'm pretty much stuck paying whatever the parts charge is. I appreciate that this situation won't happen at Smith Nielsen. It's great to find a place that understands customer service. Be courteous and listen to the customer, layout all available options, do high quality work and stand behind it, charge fair market rates. Do that and not only do the customers come back, but they tell others. It's refreshing to find a garage that has figured this formula out. Highly recommended.
