The owners are almost celebrities in China, having trained at the Beijing Wushu School and coached there . They have directed and choreographed many martial arts films including "House of Flying Daggers." To understand what this school is, you must first understand what the eastern concept of a "Wushu or Kung Fu" school means. A traditional Chinese Wushu school integrates traditional Chinese Kung Fu combat with forms (Wushu) and Sanda. Sanda is a modern day Kung Fu striking combat system developed for the Chinese military. It is similar to Muay Thai but with a heavier emphasis on take downs. In a traditional school (which this very much is), you learn all three things (self defense, Sanda, and forms) at the same time. Most of all, its fun. You will go through seriously brutal work outs, improve flexibility, and learn martial arts. I can't recommend this school highly enough.

This location is relatively newer and provides all the workout necessities; indoor track, locker rooms, showers, weights, treadmills etc... Check-in is on the main floor and workout areas are upstairs. The indoor track is basically small and in the middle of the floor with weights and machines inside the track and to the outside perimeter. To exit after your workout you need to go thru the locker rooms.
