As a single, elderly person living alone, I am often thrown into crisis when I have to undergo a medical procedure here in Tyler. Mostly worried about liability, the hospitals an outpatient services require that you have someone drive you to and from your home, delivering you safely to your door. These legal requirements put you in the awful position of having to impose on your friends, many of whom still work, to do the onerous task. TLC Medical Transport was an answer to our prayers! My mom lives with me and my husband. We both work full time. Mom needed therapy and needed to start a regimen of 2 days a week of therapy for 18 weeks. My husband nor I could take off of work so I started researching other avenues for transportation. I came across TLC Medical Transportation. Oh my! What a blessing! They came and picked up mom from our house, take her to her appointment, then take he back home! Mom has anxiety issues and does not do well with change, plus she is on oxygen and uses a walker. TLC was so good and compassionate with her and all of her issues!
