Great heartwarming teachers, very caring. Excellent education programs and environment. Communication with parents is on point Thank you, appreciate all your hard work.

Both of my kids attend TLC Learning Center, i am very happy and pleased with this school. Both of my kids graduated preschool from here and let me tell you, both of them were academically ready for Kinder. They learned all the basics that prepares them for Kinder. All teachers are very sweet and patient with the little ones, making them feel safe and loved. Now that my kids are in elementary, they now attend the TLC after school program. If you are thinking to enroll your little ones, do it! I highly recommend.

Going on 3 years at this daycare preschool and I am still exceptionally pleased with our oldest daughter's experience here. My 2nd daughter who turned 2 last summer started as soon as she was able and we have also been very happy with her development here. I also have to give a shout out to our school for being open for us parents who need them for care during this pandemic. Even though it didn't make financial sense for them to stay open when the quarantine started, they did so to help us parents who still needed to work. I have heard from many friends that their daycare preschools closed leaving them stranded without childcare. Not TLC! They are the best school ever! I will also definitely be enrolling my 6 month old boy-girl twins once they turn 2.

This school goes above and beyond to provide appropriate, individualized care for every child. They offer every opportunity for children to receive high quality learning experiences and diverse cultures. Their teachers are also incredibly knowledgable about child development which is surprisingly rare among preschools. My son has been attending since early 2022, and he has grown in so many ways! We are a primarily English and Vietnamese speaking home, so it has been really cool to watch him also learn and utilize Spanish on a regular basis due to his education at BESA. He also has a strong desire to learn to read, and his gross motor skills have come such a long way because of the daily opportunities he gets to run outside and play with peers! He also used to be a very picky eater, but since attending BESA he has begun to expand his palate and will try just about anything. He has also cultivated a love and appreciation for animals and nature itself, I believe due to his time in and around the school garden and its bunnies. During apple season, he would come home almost every day with an apple from the tree in their play yard. Green apples are now his absolute favorite fruit! BESA does accept subsidized care which has been a godsend. I thought because I could not afford preschool on my own, my son's educational opportunities would be limited. Not only has my son learned and grown so much (showing off the yoga, Spanish, math, and letters he learns daily), but BESA has also championed ME as a mom and human being! Their support has encouraged and allowed me to return to school and work which has given our family the chance it deserves to grow as a whole. Finally (though I could go on and on), I am grateful for their support of my family's unique parenting experience. My son's dad lives out of state, and we include bonus mama in our parenting decisions. BESA has gone above and beyond to make all three of us feel like equal partners in our son's education and development. They have been responsive and supportive each time we hit a behavioral challenge with our son, and they have been great with ensuring we are all involved and informed with their next steps as well as genuinely asking how they can support practices we already have at home. BESA really does intentionally hit all the parts of their name. High quality bilingual education, appreciation and cultivation of environmental science, intentional incorporation of all the arts (dance, music, visual, etc), which have supported academic development and absolute thriving socioemotional growth. Grateful to BESA in so many ways. If you're considering attending or getting on the waitlist, do NOT wait. Best early education decision I could have made for our family was attending BESA!

Sunnyday learning center has left me at ease to leave my child under supervision that isn't mine. The school is very organized, attentive, helpful, and the staff is overall amazing. If I felt like a daycare was not meeting my wants and needs I would've taken him out but I truly feel safe here and even take the extra drive because of how safe I feel with my son here. It is a small school so that's good! They pay attention to my son and have days where they know if something feels off with him. (Not even sleep) Things I really enjoy here are: -lunch is provided for an extra small fee (I don't have to worry about meal prep) -they potty train -they really look out for your child's progression here. The amount of phrases and words my child has learned even surprises me. -outdoor play and themed weeks sometimes -written reports when there's an incident (behavior or injury) -calls are given promptly if something if your child would occur. -washing of hands around the clock to make sure they don't spread germs. -use of phone app to inform parents on school schedule -tuition affordability -interactive through the app with pictures on your child's day (special event, holidays, or even activities) -nap time (because we all need one!) I'm happy to have found this place. It really gives me a peace of mind whenever I drop off my child. The staff is nothing but patient and hardworking. I'll be sad when my son's age term is up!

When baby #2 arrived, I once again searched as I wanted my eldest daughter out of the house, learning and socializing with others. After TWO years of searching, I found the Cerritos College CDC. By then, my eldest was about 4 and my little one 2.5. What a find! I was fortunate to get in. My little one (who wouldn't speak) suddently blossomed within two weeks of being there! My eldest thrived and enjoyed every day there. They took amazing care of my little ones. My eldest has severe food allergies, and they were always extremely careful with what she was exposed to. The staff is extremely caring, and the aides are just as good. The aides are students so they're working for a good grade and are constantly evaluated! Both girls were there until they entered kinder. Prior to kinder, they have a preschool program that I believe is sponsored through First 5. Either way, when my eldest enter kinder, she was way ahead of the class as she already knew all her colors, shapes, numbers, alphabet, etc. The program is a Reggio Emilia learning method. It's a "learn through play" type of thing. Look it up before you try to enroll, because this might not be for you. I remember a couple of moms that would complain about the "lack of structure" in the program. They were looking for the very traditional school setting, and this is not it. My daughters, however, LOVED this program, learned more than I could have imagined, and had no problems transitioning into regular classrooms. Know what you're getting in to though is my suggestion. I have heard that there is a pretty long wait list! I have no idea how long it is, or if the information is true, but I heard it, so I'm telling you. Never hurts to go ask though. There is SOME annoyance though. Their "admin" staff consists of two people--the director of the program, and the nice lady that sits at the front desk. They are almost impossible to contact by phone, which is INCREDIBLY frustrating. Their billing system is completely jacked up. It is very rare you receive a timely bill, or that your check is cashed in a timely matter. Sometimes they'd cash a check close to a month after I wrote it. Communication is pretty much all done in person. If you have questions, you have to go there. Don't rely on "I'll call you back" cause chances are they won't. Overall though, those weren't deal breakers. My kids were very happy, and that's all that mattered to me. My little one is now entering Kinder and we have completed our journey at the CDC. I received a very touching card from her teachers thanking ME for being a part of the CDC family and for allowing them to be a part of our lives for the past 3 years. Thank you CDC for giving them the care and education, and thank you to my kids' teachers, Miss Reena and Miss Dezi, for giving them that extra confidence and love that every kid needs.
