There are a lot of unknown variables when throwing a wedding/reception, so I was feeling a little overwhelmed. No worries though, Alex met with us, asked us all the right questions to figure out what we wanted and liked, and he came up with a plan for the music and event. He gave us the plan weeks in advance so we could add specific music or any changes we wanted. So in terms of guidance, he was worth every penny (of his pretty reasonable fee). During the wedding and reception, he was extremely professional and 'on top of everything,' so all I had to do is sit back and get married. He also specializes in multicultural weddings, so his understanding of all things wedding is pretty impressive. Alex was very personable, responsive and fun to work with, and did a great job of keeping the party going - I would highly recommend him to anyone getting married.

As two woman…read moregetting married in the state of Florida, we weren't really sure how the process of getting an officiant would go. We were referred to Elegant Events by one of our other vendors, and Betty immediately answered all of our questions and was very responsive to our emails. We hired Allen to be our officiant, and he did a wonderful job!! He was so sweet and really was exactly what we were looking for to find in the person that would be standing up there with us as we said our "I Do's" :) In hindsight, as we just received our pictures back last night and noticed this, the only thing I wish was different was that both our names were spelled wrong on the binder that Allen read off of. So now in all of our photos at the alter you see "Kaitlin & Brandy" instead of "Katelin & Brandi." During the Ceremony, Allen accidently said "Candy" instead of "Brandi", but that was humorous and we all laughed so if anything it was nice because it helped calm our nerves, but this is something a little more permanent as it is in a lot of our important pictures (especially zoomed in ones of our hands when we are putting on rings). I am sure this was an oversight, and in the grand scheme of things is pretty minor, but I wish there was a little more attention paid to this detail on their parts. Didn't ruin the wedding or photos (not everything can go right in a wedding), but just something that I would recommend to other brides to check for so it doesn't happen in your wedding as well. Other than that, we truly did have a great experience with Elegant Events, and if we had to go back and choose an officiant all over, Allen would definitely be the one that we pick :) Thanks Betty and Allen for helping to make our day special!

He had great reviews, which really encouraged us. John was very responsive and handled everything in a timely manner (from correspondence throughout the planning, obtaining the marriage license - my daughter and her husband live in Texas and needed John's assistance in obtaining an out-of-state marriage license , to planning all of the details of the actual ceremony). I spoke to John initially, to secure him for that day and felt very assured by his professionalism. He spoke to my daughter and her fiancé, at the time, and they loved him immediately! He was friendly and spent time with them going over everything. They were able to customize their vows and he gave them valuable suggestions and recommendations as to the unity candle and other details of the ceremony. We met John in person for the first time on the day of the wedding. He was so friendly and efficient! My husband and I loved how he led the ceremony and his personality. He was light-hearted and sincere. He had a sense of humor, which we appreciated, and he led the ceremony with expertise. We loved that he seemed to take his responsibility as the officiant performing their vows to heart, like he genuinely cared about their vows and the lifelong commitment they were making. We would recommend John's services without hesitation.

My husband and I decided to surprise each other with separate things of which David was actively involved in both. He kept the surprises for both of us and never hinted at anything to either! He was an amazing DJ and his personality fit wonderfully with ours. Communication was great, and we couldn't have asked for anything more!

After 2 weeks they finally sent a contract saying to call with questions. We were excited to get the contact but had a few questions so tried reaching out, but again no response! Then, 1 day prior to the signing cut-off they sent an automated email stating that my wedding date had been given to someone else! I immediately reached out to ask what happened since we still had 1 more day but again, no response! They've really left me in a desperate situation since my wedding is only a few months away. Very disappointing after we were initially so excited to work with them and previously Kris seemed so engaged and professional and then completely let us down. Probably for the best, based on this experience we most likely wouldn't have received good service on the wedding day either. Good riddance!

Presentation of the cocktail was striking as they presented it in glassware that was cute and adorned it with a aloe leaf. All other vendors used plastic so real glassware was very noticeable to the recipient's. At a wedding or formal setting, this drink would have been a wow factor as it was for me. On top of Hawaiian Hibiscus fizz was an aloe leaf demanding the show. The drink was refreshing with their homemade hibiscus syrup and I definitely would want a second.
