I was intrigued by it so we got this and it was delicious. The glaze was light, sweet, and flavorful. I love anything earl grey and it was wonderful. However I feel like I tasted a little more strawberry rather than earl grey. It would've been nice to have the earl grey flavor pop out a little bit more. The doughnut was great nonetheless. But what really surprised me was the doughnut dough itself. It was light, chewy, and unlike other doughnuts I've tasted before. It reminded me of desserts with a mochi-like consistency. Maybe they add a little bit of mochi flour in the dough, or something similar to that. Whatever they put in that dough is magic because it was so delicious. We only had space for one doughnut haha, but in the future I know we'll order more.

This time the temperature was at the low side of normal so it went down quickly. Here's the thing. The server noticed my cup was empty and asked it I would like a second cup. She said it's free with meals (drip coffee). I was impressed because only a few places offer that important second cup. Surprisingly the second cup of coffee was served at just the right temperature. I really appreciated the easy listening music that was not turned way up like so many places do these days. The ambiant sound was pleasant and it was easy to have a conversation. For those with a sweet tooth for baked goods, Cobs does not compromise. Among my favourite baked goodies from Cobs is their chocolate croissant & their raspberry white chocolate scones. Their frosted cinnamon buns are also addictive especially after they've been warmed up just to the right temperature. Here in Edmonton, we have seen a number of Cobs locations pop up & I am glad. Their bread is truly delicious.
