Truly a blessing this place is in a town like ours. The staff is so polite and respectful, the English is shaky but plenty good enough. I've had a couple of dishes now. Their pad Thai is solid, but I think they thrive on their curries. I most recently had the Panang curry and found the balance of sweet to spicy, sauce to vegetables/rice, and quantity of protein to be spot on. And it should be, it is't cheap, but as-is it IS worth it. My biggest knock is the layout. Most restaurants go front to back with their seating. Their seating is side to side with not much space between. Thus, you find yourself at dinner with more than just yourself or your friends! Worth a try, check it out.

We visited on an…read moreearly Saturday evening and started our meal with the Dragon Fruit Mojito, which was perfectly mixed and extremely refreshing. For appetizers, we tried their egg rolls, and they might honestly be in the top ten egg rolls I have ever had--paired with the old-school hot mustard and duck sauce, they absolutely did the trick. I also tried the coconut shrimp soup; it was flavorful, creamy, and a very unique dish that I had never seen before. My wife ordered the Kani roll and the Rainbow roll, both of which featured incredibly fresh ingredients and beautifully balanced flavors. For my main course, I went with the General Tso's chicken, which was perfectly crispy and wonderfully flavored. If you're looking for an elegant date night spot to feast on upscale Asian fare, this is the perfect place.

Our only hiccup was the reservation I made through yelp wasn't picked up by them. They had no idea we were coming in....so we sat and waited looking like losers who "drop in" with 5 people like we own the place. Rather embarrassing and it was noted on our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday. Oh well... It's ok. We will return but will call to make reservations next time.

I usually get the pho or creamy tom yum soup with veggies or tofu. Others in my home get spring rolls and chicken lo mein or chicken fried rice. I love the pho and creamy tom yum. Be careful with the heat level. I usually get a four or five and that is plenty. The spring rolls are great a little on the expensive side for two spring rolls. We have determined the fried rice is better than the lo mein. I can't speak to the dine in experience but service for to go orders is usually quick. However, last time they forgot my rice noodles. I will continue to keep this as a to go staple in our house.

The menu is very extensive but if you have an idea of what you are looking for, it is not that intimidating. Our waiter laid out that they have five spice levels on many of their dishes. I went with the yellow curry, medium spice with chicken. Wow. The flavor is plentiful. The portion is a great size. I got two full meals out of it. My mom got Pad Thai with chicken. That's her go to. She said it's the same, but different as other Pad Thai dishes she has had elsewhere. Still enjoyed it! My dad got his usual Szechuan bowl with chicken. He enjoyed it too. It was his idea to start with house salads those were very whole and real. The peanut sauce dressing fit perfectly! I got some green tea to drink. The teapot and cup made the experience that much more inclusive. Boxing up our leftovers, I took that opportunity to ask our waiter if I could get the curry spicier next time. He turns to me and said, "Of course we can! We can make it not as spicy as you want (while squatting down) and make it as spicy as you want (while reaching up to the ceiling)". I loved the enthusiasm!! Upon leaving my mom and I inquired about gluten free desserts. The gentleman at the counter said, let me ask the kitchen for sure, and he said yes, they said the sticky rice is ready for your next time in! Amazing food. Friendly service. We will definitely be back. Do try Bangkok Thai Restaurant if you enjoy Thai food.
