No problem says Wooden Nickel we will contact you once we have them in stock. We will be back in Stillwater often and will be shopping here lots!

This is one of my favorite boutiques in all of Oklahoma. While it is on the pricey side, which is…read morewhy I mostly window-shopped during my time as a poor college student at OSU, now as an alumni I love to come in on football weekends and pick up some cute orange gear as well as browse the excellent NorthFace selection that is frequently carried in smaller sizes than other shops. The main reason for my 5-star rating is due to the level of service that I received with my latest purchase. During the coldest Bedlam game I have ever experienced, I stopped in looking for the warmest coat I could find. I found a great (and not cheap) puffy NorthFace jacket that I purchased and carried with me until the game started. Unfortunately when I put it on, I noticed several small slits at the bottom of the jacket where the stuffing was coming out. At the end of the game, we brought the jacket back and they offered to personally take the jacket to their NorthFace rep in Dallas to be either repaired or replaced under the NorthFace warranty. Unfortunately after inspection, the NorthFace rep could not help as it was apparently a burn and not a tear (which I am sure I did at some point when walking through numerous tailgates with heaters blazing). Nonetheless, the store manager offered to have it repaired at their tailor at no cost to me, and even had it shipped to my house in Tulsa! I greatly appreciated the level of service that I often do not experience at other retailers these days and plan to continue shopping at The Wooden Nickel in the future.

This place has great gift possibilities, good style, and there is always a sale going on…read more It has stylish clothing for all ages, plus sleepwear, lingerie and shoes. It has a large jewelry and fragrance section. This holiday season, I'll be getting some of the ladies in my family box sets of luxurious bath and body care items. There are lots of perfume and men's cologne sampler packs that would also make good gifts. There is also a home section with lots of bedding sets, dishes and silverware. Again, some really great gift opportunities. Workers were all over the store and they asked many times if I needed assistance with anything. I plan to shop there more often in the future. It's nice that I can get a lot of shopping needs done without going to Tulsa or OKC.

Cute little store but the worst customer service…read more They advertise to use them to order sorority gear for your daughter during rush and they make it sound easy though they don't even have a website, so I decided to place an order. I followed their instructions of sending an email of what you would like to order for bid day & supposedly they will call you back in the order your email was received to confirm. Well it's been 8 weeks & I'm still waiting for a call...so my order was never processed & my daughter didn't get anything in bid day. So despite my advice my husband decides to call & order something for her birthday which was 2 weeks after rush. He talked to someone who took his order & said it would be delivered asap. Her birthday went by with no delivery. We went to the store when we were in town 2 weeks after the order was placed & they gave us the run around after making us wait forever in the store & basically they said everything was on back order. That would've been nice to know. Two weeks later back in town (now 5 weeks from placing the order) we went to the store & still got everything we ordered (Shorts and a tote bag) is still in back order. Finally 2 weeks later they say they have the order ready...still haven't seen it. Worst place to order anything for your sorority daughter! Unless you can buy it at the store don't waste your time.

The day after bid day we walked in and they had great selection and honestly the ladies were so friendly (of course I have found that to be true of EVERY PLACE in Stillwater!) We have been back a couple of times since and have purchased some clothes off the clearance rack and it didn't matter that we were only looking for good deals, they were just as friendly and helpful. I just called to order a gift for initiation and Joann spent quite a bit of time on the phone explaining my options. Since I had just been in there last week I had some ideas of what I wanted but she was so nice to text me pictures of my choices. I'm assuming the gift will show up as promised the day before initiation. They would definitely be well served by putting up a website if only for looking purposes and not for ordering but I'll continue to patronize them regardless.
