Love the people here and love the professionalism. They got me in and out and the paper work was minimal. They will have my business again.

I wanted to drive out of the Ford dealership with a new Explorer, so the salesman effected a loan…read morewith Truist @ ~5.54% (60 months) which was fine, although I thought Ford would be the financier. Whatever, I let the salesman earn his commission and that kept me from chasing down a loan with my bank while sitting at the dealership. Despite advice from the Truist webpage to wait three weeks to make the first payment, I made it the day the account came online instead of letting interest build for 30-days. I mistakenly opt to have Truist pull the money from my checking account out of simplicity. That mistake gave Truist insight into every transaction I made in that account. And every transaction was replicated on my Truist account page! Whoa, says I, that is not going to happen one more day. I delinked as fast as I could and began a direct payment. I then tried to link the Truist account via Quicken on my PC. The link would not work; but a Quicken pop-up message advised I call Truist for help. Help amounted to them wanting to know what Quicken was! Huh? I asked to speak to a manager. The manager asked, "Why are you using Quicken?" Huh?! I eventually leaned that to make such a download, I would be charged $9.99/month. Huh?! I replied that they were crazy. The help insisted that Quicken charged Truist for my download. I said they were crazy and that I would not bank with Truist another day. I hung up and began processing a 36-month loan with my online bank (that begins with US and ends with AA). Needing a 10-day payoff amount, I got the amount on a second call with Truist - and their loan was paid off three days later, not including the weekend. Unlike other reviewers, I did not have to worry about the title swap. AND THEN, a month later (today), a Truist Alert email arrived indicating that "We couldn't complete your recent transaction request due to an error during processing. Please start a new transaction request to send your payment." Huh?! First, I made no transaction request; and second, I have no active account with Truist. I called to see what silly explanation they might have - the help said it was an "errant email." Huh? I am glad to be rid of that bank. If you have any sense, you will put your money in a bank that knows what it is doing. That bank should not be Truist.
