Chase recently advertised an offer stating "Earn back $8 on your AARP Membership when you spend $12 Or more." Based on this offer, I decided to try a 1 year AARP membership and earn $8 cash back. In compliance with the offer stipulations, I did the following: I made the $12 purchase with AARP on January 16, 2023 (last day of the offer), using my Chase Marriott Visa Credit Card. The website notes that "credits will appear in your account in 7-14 business days." Today is February 13, 2023 and I have never received the credit. During my first phone call to Chase about a 1 1/2 weeks ago I was told they would "investigate" the issue. The feedback I received during a phone call with Chase today was that I was not eligible for the credit. I pointed out to Chase that I have a screenshot of the offer and the charge is shown on my Chase credit call bill. Today I shared with the Chase representative how unhappy I am with their dishonorable behavior concerning this offer. The Chase representative apologized, said he would escalate the issue and request another "investigation". My parting thoughts concerning this very disappointing experience with Chase are: how hard should a customer have to work to force Chase to do the right thing AND Chase customers beware!

By the end of the day not only had they opened a new account for us, but they secured the PPP loan for us and the funds were available in our new account. I will never do banking business with anyone else. It's been ​6 years since then and thanks to them our business is doing well. The same few people always answer the phone. They answer with my name as they know my phone number when I call. They bend over backwards to serve our needs and are extremely nice and helpful people to do business with.
