Most "local" banks aren't really from here so I became interested when I found out these guys were opening and are both locally owned and operated--a rarity these days. I have to say, they surpassed my expectations. They are a true entrepreneurial bank where the decision makers helped me navigate my business needs and provided exceptional customer service. I am not a tech-savvy guy either and can unequivocally state that their mobile app is the best, most intuitive I've used yet. Account openings were quick and painless and can even be done remotely. I have since opened several personal and business accounts, opened a line of credit and even had my kids start accounts there. I can use my Beacon debit card at any ATM because they reimburse the fees which is a huge convenience. The entire team has been friendly, helpful and a pleasure to work. If you're like me and want to bank locally with people you call on or speak to face to face, I highly recommend contacting their Business Development Officer Gretta Kruesi gretta@beacon.bank (843) 990-5535.
