They didn't transfer all the policies I requested. When I called I was told I have to call customer service. Okay so aren't they supposed to provide the customer service in their office?! I do have a question which has irritated me since I started paying insurance so many years ago which is the following: If insurance is required by law, then why are they allowed to pay actors and actresses millions of dollars in competition with other insurance companies for my money? I think anything that is federally mandated shouldn't be allowed to advertise and have a profit cap. Just my two cents. Now as for my particular situation when I initially set up my account with the agents assistant, she must haven't had her coffee yet. To that I mean she was cordial and I had everything set up but when I got my drivers assistant (the little monitor you put in your car), they had my phone number, SSN and email address set up wrong. I would get in the system, see it was wrong, call them they'd fix it (although it took over night for the system to update) and try again the next day. This took three days since there was three items entered wrong. Perhaps it was my fault as I should have sat on the phone and fixed it with her while we were talking. That aside things were fixed and no harm, no foul. As for prices it's very hard to compare plans as there's so many different details that can change things. That said, what I pay falls in line with what I paid for in Texas with one of their competitors. In my not so professional opinion, I would advise anyone seeking new insurance to spend the time and compare all carriers as they have customized options which change the price so it's hard to recommend what's the best. Overall, these people will treat you well and give you the coverage you need. I do advise if you chose them, which I support, going over your info twice to ensure accuracy. I have full confidence in State Farm, Mark Ensley's branch will treat you fairly and give you great coverage.

Honestly, this is the worst insurance agency I have ever been with. Adding or removing a car…read morebecomes the most complicated thing ever with this agency. I removed 2 cars and 2 drivers and sent proof of new insurance and 3 weeks later I'm getting emails about monthly amount being due and it was the same as if nothing had changed. Each month we never knew what our policy would be as it would fluctuate. For over 20 years I was with Progressive and you get a payment schedule and it's the same for 6 months ...no such concept with State Farm. Granted we added 2 cars and 2 new drivers, but after adding the 2 drivers we had 3 months where our payment ranged from $450-$740. The agents seem nice enough, but don't know how to follow through and just do a simple enough job. Something is lost in translation with this office. Once they even said we would get a $220 credit, only to be billed more...it's like the Twilight Zone of billing and technology at this office. Everything takes weeks to complete and update all the whole they change the payment monthly because they might say "rates for the state went up" which I think means they didn't do something right, so you will pay more now. If you love yourself, don't give your business to this office, it will only drive you insane!! I'm so thrilled I don't have to deal with them anymore.

She notified our apartment complex before ever notifying us saying the policy was about to be cancelled and proceeded even upon request via email to not call me and cancelled our policy and notified us 4 days after she cancelled the policy and all this during the floods here in Charleston.
