**Disappointing Experience - Not Worth the $220**…read more I have no idea what I just paid $220 for. I could have easily filed my taxes myself online for free and saved both time and money. The agent barely asked any questions about potential deductions--only inquiring about my cell phone bill--and made no effort to maximize my return. The worst part? I specifically booked this appointment for help with my small business taxes and annual reports, but they couldn't assist with any of it. The entire session lasted about 20 minutes, and I only got half of what I needed done. Complete waste of time and money. Lesson learned--I'll never make this mistake again.

I wasted a lot of time and am now even more behind on my taxes because of Exacta BTS. Maybe they…read moreare OK for simple returns, but if you have anything that falls outside the ordinary, find someone else. They also do not have any CPAs on staff. I asked for help with an unfiled tax return that was a little bit complicated, and I let them know multiple times that I was concerned about the pro-rata calculation for a roth conversion in a previous year. The accountant they assigned (Jonathon B) was not competent enough to even understand, so it never crossed his mind that he was doing it wrong, despite the fact that I had given him the correct forms. After he completed my return, but before filing, I asked him multiple times to explain how he did a pro-rata calculation. Instead he confused the pro-rata calculation with marginal tax rate, and tried to explain that the software did it. After I asked him to clarify multiple times (because he didn't account for prior contributions) he stopped answering my messages. On asking someone else at the firm for escalation to a different accountant, I was told that Jonathon is one of their most experienced accountants, and that they do not have any CPAs on staff, nor could they provide a referral to one.

I am leaving a review (which is rare) because my experience with Century Management Financial…read moreAdvisors has really been above and beyond what I expected. Prior to them, I was meeting with other potential advisors. Conversations all ended the same after getting nowhere. I may not have millions like some clients but it was respectable. Still, I kept having the same experience which made me feel behind and a little silly. When I spoke to Century Management Financial Advisors, I was surprised that they were treating me, my money, and concerns as if I were one of their most important clients. They were completely focused on me. I received help with financial planning, setting up a budget and goals, and was given clear investment guidance because they also took the time to educate me. And I had a ton of questions which they answered gladly, treating each as a key part of the relationship. I wish I would have started with them first. I finally have a clear path forward and peace of mind. Plus, I know I'm finally dealing with my finances the right way! I cannot say enough good things about them.

We recently completed a comprehensive financial planning process with Century Management Financial…read moreAdvisors and had a very positive experience. The plan was tailored to a period of transition for us, with multiple moving pieces to think through, including a potential home purchase, family planning, and changes in income over time. The team covered budgeting, tax considerations, savings, and long-term planning, and their planning software was especially helpful in visualizing different scenarios and showing how various financial decisions could affect our overall goals. Scott, David, and Rachel were attentive, patient, and easy to work with. They took the time to answer questions, explain concepts clearly, and make the process feel collaborative rather than transactional or pushy. It has also been valuable to work with the same firm on both financial planning and investment management. Having one team with a full view of our situation has made the experience feel seamless and comprehensive, and has given us greater confidence in our overall financial direction.
