The post office totally dropped the ball and gave me no tracking info or updates whatsoever during the entire shipping of my order. USPS didn't even tell me they had received my package! I contacted Titanium Kay and was emailed back almost immediately from Mark L. We exchanged many emails back and forth. It mentions it on the contract but it's for people who ordered their ring through the company. There is a sentence somewhere on the website that states ink pad will NOT be provided for engravings only. 2. Send an image of your fingerprint prior to sending ring. This gives the company time to quality check print. They may need another one if the one you sent isn't good. 3. First class mail is what the company recommends. This review is long over due. I have used Titanium Kay twice now and both times I have had the most amazing service and got a very high quality tungsten ring at a great price. Let me just start by saying I am on my second and final marriage (got a keeper this time around!). I wanted to preface that so my stories make sense. First time I found Titanium Kay was because about a month after my first wedding I lost my wedding ring (a tungsten ring I spent way too much for at a big name jeweler you see in the malls) while out surfing in the ocean. I bought a tungsten wedding ring from my local jeweler who did not perform laser engraving. After finding Titanium Kay online & reading the reviews, I sent the ring off to be engraved. It was a quick turn around but the ring was sent back to me in pieces. I called T.K. & they said that it must of happened in shipping. I took the pieces to my local jeweler & they said it was very unlikely that it happened in shipping & most likely happened when they were engraving the ring & squeezed it too tight in their machine. T.K. refunded me my engraving & shipping cost but would not reimbursement me for the $350 ring. They said it was insured for $100 through fed ex & after complaining for several minutes, they reimbursed me the $100 also. So now I'm out $250 & have to purchase another ring. Beware of this company! I ordered my husband's wedding ring through this website and 9 months after our wedding, it is completely destroyed. I wanted a tungsten ring for him as he works with his hands a lot and he needed something that would hold up. About 4 months after our wedding, the ring developed a crack at the seam. Last month, the "stone inlay" fell out- and it actually was just laminated paper. Finally, this week one of the ridges of "tungsten" in the ring cracked completely off. Ordered a ring from these guys. It came in two days, but they sent me a whole 1 size larger. I ordered a 11 and got a 12. I didn't want to sound like an idiot when I called, so I went to Jared and they confirmed it was a 12, comfort fit or not. I then called the company and was told promptly by a foreign lady that it was a size 11, not a size 12 and that they couldn't be wrong. I told her that I went to Jared and was again told that it was an 11 and that it was bigger because of the comfort fit. ?!?! WHAT? That doesn't change the overall ring size, just the shape of the inside. She wouldn't budge, so customer service is a JOKE. She was also very rude through out the whole entire conversation. A perfect ring -- with IRONCLAD warranty and great customer service! I bought my ring as a wedding band three years ago -- and have enjoyed everything about it. Its shine and engraving have proven immune to the extensive abuse I've subjected it to. I've hit it on things more times than I can remember, scratched on all kinds of surfaces including rough granite, and there was never a mark on it. That is until last week, when after completing a home improvement project I was thumping the head of a hammer into the palm of my left hand (remember, I did say I've beaten up my ring a lot) and must have hit the ring just the wrong way -- and it broke. Not sure whether it was a crack from previous hits that finally gave way, a slight flaw in the metal, an unlucky angle, or some combination. Anyway, the ring didn't shatter -- it broke into a 'c' shape and the little fragment that would connect the ends. I sent the ring back to Titanium Kay (along with a copy my invoice, which they so conveniently store online for their customers), hoping that they'd replace it for me under the warranty -- even though it was clearly at least partly my fault. They replaced it for free. Not only that, they redid the engraving and shipped it out to me for free -- and I had my replacement ring within a few days of them receiving it. Now THAT'S customer service and standing behind your product! The way Titanium Kay stands behind their product negates one of the few drawbacks of buying a tungsten ring -- the fact that they are somewhat brittle (though you can be sure I'll avoid hitting my new ring with a hammer). In some ways, however, this experience was also reassuring -- because even though tungsten rings cannot be cut off in an emergency, it demonstrated that a tungsten ring could be intentionally broken fairly easily (to free an injured finger) by using a vice grip (or in a pinch even a hammer or rock). read more

I purchased a cobalt chrome ring through Titanium Kay online. The ring was b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l... but not quite as durable as the "scratch resistant" description had led me to believe. I bought my wedding ring (tungsten band) from titanium kay in 2008. The fit and engraving were prefect but the ring gave me a rash that looked like a nickel allergy. I took the ring to a local jeweler and sure enough, it was positive for nickel. I emailed titanium kay and they flat out refused to admit that their ring could contain nickel. They told me they wouldn't take it back anyway because it was engraved. So now my "wedding ring" sits in a box in the garage. Thanks for nothing! read more

We purchased our Tungsten ring locally but NO ONE in the Province (Canada) could engrave it. I couldn't even find anyone in all of CANADA who could laser engrave it. So I searched online and found TitaniumKay. I was a little nervous, but they seemed fast to respond and their rating were high. So I shipped our ring off to be engraved by them and in two weeks it was back in Canada! They sent the tracking as soon as it was on its way back home, and I was SHOCKED to see that they packed it in this huge cardboard box, and surrounded the ring-box in that "egg" foam. It was so awesome to see that they had put so much effort into just packaging it so it would arrive safely. The engraving was FLAWLESS. The price was maybe a bit much since foreign shipping is expensive, but that's not this company's fault. I would not hesitate to pay it again for the beautiful craftsmanship.
