They make hard work seem fun and in areas of weakness, give our daughter specific, clear goals to work toward. Teamwork is also very positive and encouraging with no visible pitting of members against each other as my daughter experienced at her prior gym. I don't want to compare negatively, but that was a huge issue at her old gym. My daughter was rarely targeted that way at her old gym, but she witnessed it too often and it was never a positive outcome for her team. Thankfully, she has not witnessed that highly negative, demeaning coaching style at all at Brandon!!! Update 1 year later: Having just completed a year at Brandon, my daughter is still thrilled with her decision to move to Brandon All-Stars Jacksonville. We came home from a Summit Championship last month with the highest score her team has earned all season (98.4), hitting Zero both days. She in was the most competitive division (J3) and placed very high in finals. The top 10 teams were only fractions of a point apart, with multiple ties! Out of 6 teams eligible, Brandon set 5 teams on to Summit. That is an extremely high percentage for a gym, many who get only 1, 2 of no bids! The only All-star team that was not eligible for Summit due to Youth division, went on win the "The One" National Championship including the virtual Top Nationwide Title. This gym is only in it's infancy at 4 seasons completed. They were formerly franchised under Rockstar Cheer until becoming part of the Brandon family in season 4. Effective April 2021, they have now moved into their brand new, very large permanent building that was built and is owned by the gym owner, Michelle. They have space in front they will lease out, but may expand into that space in future years if needed. Between our old gym moving 3 times and this gym moving twice, we are thankful to finally have a long-term home! Brandon has also made some fantastic staff additions and increased involvement of Brandon All-Stars Tampa that will make the upcoming season 5 their best season ever! We are looking forward to another great year with Brandon.

She has such a natural way with young kids and knows exactly how to keep them engaged while making them feel safe and supported. Miss Amanda creates a nurturing and fun environment where the kids can explore, build confidence, and develop new skills at their own pace. Miss Nicole coaches my 6-year-old in the Thursday Intermediate tumbling class, and she is also amazing! My daughter has learned many skills in a short time frame. Had a teacher taking kids into the bathroom to spank their them and would leave them in the room…read moreuntil they finished crying, had multiple instances where dropping my child off becomes some back and forth with the office people while my kid is basically running around the room unattended due to their lack of competent people able to work in their facilities. Never had a day where my kid was good today always had something to say about behavior and disciplinaries that should be followed at home, yet upon return home I notice none of the feedback the teachers give me or other parents. most staff will watch your kids outside of the building for cheaper as well so what's the point of the facility when I have an employee come cut my grapes for my son at home yet the facility can't cut grapes, provide the safety for my child let alone look after them. I am typing this up as a frustrated parent in concern that there needs to be entire overhaul of their curriculums, as well as replacing majority of the staff with people capable and sensible of not only working with our children but also able to work cohesively as a team and make proactive contributions to the lives of our children by inspiring and instructing them, Not being upset at the parents for not providing the necessities that should have already been provided.

My daughter has been at TLE for a year and a half. My daughter's teachers have always been amazing and we have built very trusting relationships over our time spent (Ms. Kanea, Ms. Taylor, Ms. Brittany, Ms. Jade just to name a few). These young ladies have shown compassion, understanding, patience, and love to both my daughter and myself and it is clear that they understand the impact they have on us both. Mrs. Valerie and Mrs. Mary have consistently kept me abreast on things I've needed to know and have listened to my complaints on things that I felt needed to change, impacting and affecting change where they could to the best of their abilities. Is the center perfect? No. But truly what center is? My biggest reason for keeping my daughter there are the folks named above and so far that's been enough.

The team at BSA loves the students and truly invests in their future. They partner with the student's parents as they maneuver through the day-to-day growth of the students in their care. My children were well-prepared for college. The discipline they learned in their studies gave them what they needed to succeed in their later studies. All four of my students graduated high school in the top 15% of their class. (public and private) two have graduated college in the top 10%, and two are still in school. Gym is mostly fine, it's one of the few in the area. The owners seem nice enough, there does seem…read moreto be a good amount of turnover in staff, however. The machines are older and show some wear and tear, but mostly work. The second floor is almost dangerous to work out in, though. The railing is/was loose enough to move with one hand, it's constantly 75-80+ upstarts due to ongoing AC problems. I've found myself unable to complete full workouts due to the temperature. They managed to build an office upstairs in a matter of weeks, however. Priorities, I suppose. Downstairs, the plates are everywhere, the benches are so close together you can't even pass between them, and the paper towel dispensers are often empty. The bathrooms are often in a state of disrepair, with paper towels shoved in crevices where fittings should be, at least 2 of the men's bathroom stalls have been out of order for at least a year. It's pretty inexpensive for a gym this size but some of these are actual safety issues. Myself and others have informed the staff multiple times, the issues persist.
