Urgent cares are hit-or-miss (usually a "miss"). About a month ago I was super sick so we went to another urgent care and had a horrible experience and ended up leaving. We were frantically searching google for someplace else to go and found this place. We had a really hard time finding it because it is tucked back in an access road. It is attached to a Methodist Physicians Clinic so the facility is pretty nice. The best part is that the nurses and doctors are all super friendly and competent (as opposed to the C-string that you often find at urgent cares). Also, the co-pay is only $30 (most places are $50), although that may vary with your insurance. If you have been to a Methodist medical facility in the past, check in is super fast, as they will already have you in the system. After filling out minimal paperwork, we only had to wait about 5 minutes until they called us back. We have been back since and the quality was just as good the second time. If you need an urgent care, I cannot recommend this place enough!

Not even an "I'll be with you in a moment" or some form of acknowledgement that I was standing there. When I made the appointment they stressed I had to be here on time in order to be seen and fill paperwork out. A lady from the back noticed I was standing there and finally came to help me. Filled out my paperwork and sat in the waiting room. The building is very low lit. While you wait there is a TV and some magazines available. Being the only patient here I was a bit surprised how long it took to be seen. I waited about 25 minutes to be seen but once in the back the staff was friendly and upon leaving was told to have a great weekend.

I'm not talking about a few hundred dollars I'm talking about a few thousand dollars. A 15 minute phone conversation was over $200 and i got a bill for $171 for a blood draw. They are billing me for procedures that took place over a year ago. I don't even answer the phone when i see it's CHI on my cell phone. My wife and i both agreed to find a different provider. That being said that i will finish paying off my CHI bill in 2031. Completely down with CHI Health. 1/2 star

I think it's a bunch of crap they have them in there and there's no reason they have to scan patients when they especially when they are in vulnerable positions, yes it is a doctor on the other line of the scanning, however, things get hacked so much that there is no way that they can tell if that is being hacked or not so your naked ass could be projected everywhere I want the person fired did mine, and I also want the cameras removed from the room, not going to stop till they are. Do not believe them when they tell you that they are turned off and will not scan you. They are lying.

Suspect they're not the only clinic with this approach. I called to set up an appt and was informed of the above albeit a tad abruptly. Can't blame them given they wanted to get back to the customers that mattered and not waste time on someone who will not be adding to their bottom line. I would advise they could save both prospective clients and their staff time - if they posted on the web site who they will, and won't do business with where it can be seen.

Dr. Gabriel really makes sure all his patients understand what exactly he does and keeps them informed as possible. He really wants to heal people and it is shown through his passion. They are the easiest people to work with when it comes to scheduling appointments and rescheduling. They always make sure to work with their customers as much as possible. Dr Cook has come into the room with injections and prescriptions that were not meant for me. My son was never sent a bill from his office for three months then sent a bill for 56 dollars and change and was told sending to collections. He had an appointment set for the beginning of the following week, so i sent a check with a note saying he hadn't received a bill in months now for a small amount sending to collections was uncalled for. When my son showed up for his appointment the billing personnel came into the waiting area with the note saying that it could harm his status with the Dr. and the office. Didn't know his correct name and belittled him in front of other waiting patients. He mentioned this when he saw Dr. Cook assistant and the reply was don't worry about it she's like that a lot. They said they called in a new prescription for his high blood pressure to go along with the one hes already taking, it was the same med. he let them know that and has still not heard back from his staff. I'm sure some patients feel his services are fine, but I've never written a review before but feel Dr. Cook and his staff are way below par. Thanks

I've been in healthcare for 13 years and have seen my family members have issue after issue with this doctor and the clinic. When they do tests they should perform them correctly with the latest technology and techniques based on research. If the test doesn't work you do not charge a patient as it is your fault not theirs...this is called customer service. Ever heard of HCAP? Or I guess not because if you stop service with them instead of admitting your own fault, then they won't get the survey and lower your scores showing the truth on your level of customer service. This is how we practice in my hospital when dealing with people who are sick and searching for our help. We don't dismiss them. I highly don't recommend this clinic or Dr. Cook.

Great listener doesn't shoot down my ideas or tell me that there's a better course of treatment. Instead she gives me all my options including pros and cons and lets me decide from there. Every now and then I'll be concerned my insurance won't cover something - a sub-dermal birth control for example. Her staff called my insurance company before the procedure and made sure I was fully covered or else inquired on prices and such. Recently I had a med check for my ADHD medication - should have taken a few seconds to chat then she would re RX my meds and I'd be on my way. Unluckily//Luckily I found a suspicious mole two days before my appointment but she checked it out on the spot in their surgical procedure room. Suspicious mole was numbed, removed, and sent to the lab for biopsy. WOOT WOOT!! The entire office is great! Love their facilities and staff!!
