He began doing smaller jobs for me - stripping and sealing stairs, painting rooms and troubleshooting a temperamental oven - and ended up putting my upstairs together after mold remediators demolished much of it. TJ and his crew put up walls, rebuilt window frames, added trim, hung lights, tiled my shower (beautifully!), built a linen closet, added an attic platform and a pull-down staircase and even built an oak vanity to fit my small bathroom. For years I'd deferred much of this work because I knew no one truly capable of or interested in dealing with such a wide variety of issues/tasks.
