When I got the picture home I realized I was getting reflections and shadows on the glass. I contacted Mac's and told them my problem. I would highly recommend Macs Framing.

They even put a protective coating on the newspaper itself, to stop it from deteriorating even more (it's from 1969!). All I can say is, if you want a professional job done, with keepsakes that mean a great deal to you, or anything for that matter, go to Mac's! And support the mom and pop stores! Highly recommended!

Its also challenging to frame because of the many many little pieces of fabric that cover the canvas and continue over the edges of the canvas. I found Urban Art early in this process and I'm SO glad I did! I have stuck with them over the years and the many different locations and will continue to do so. The quality of work is outstanding and the service is above and beyond. Choosing just the right frame often takes awhile but they are always helpful with good advice and lots of patience. I will absolutely be sticking with Urban Art for all my framing needs in the future.

I placed an order for the cup I was searching for, then discovered they also had a mug I'd been looking for, so I placed a second order. Luke noticed the two separate orders and emailed me asking If I'd like them mailed together (letting me know that would mean waiting a few extra days as one was not immediately on hand). I said yes, and he kept me informed. The cups arrived today, mailed securely in perfect condition, very reasonably priced. Good communication and customer service, one more great Canadian memory for me, even if this one was only online...

The gentleman who helped me, Paul, took a great deal of time and care in selecting the perfect frame, patiently working with me to find just the right one. After the framing was completed (with the materials he had special-ordered), I had second thoughts. The frame, though beautiful, didn't quite feel right. I was hesitant to say anything, given the work and expense already involved. But to my surprise, Paul couldn't have been more understanding. Not only did he offer to take the piece apart and help me choose a new frame, he also gave me a generous discount on the second order. His attitude was kind, respectful, and utterly without ego--just a genuine desire to make sure I was happy with the final result. It's rare these days to find someone who stands so firmly behind their work and treats customers with such care. Frameworks went above and beyond in every sense. I'm deeply grateful--and delighted with the final result. As others have noted before me: this is an exceptional shop offering the very highest in customer care and satisfaction. Highly recommended.
