Absolutely worst service I have had to deal with in years. My 2nd visit here in last couple month guys have no clue what they are doing and my truck was on lift for 2 hours while tech is just standing there! For a dam oil change...really! Never again! Last time they promised services they couldn't deliver had to coome back 3 times to properly program tire pressure sensors, sold me alignment they couldn't do and high speed balance they couldn't either. My daughter apparently hit a curb and busted the sidewall of her left front tire in the early morning hours, and fortunately it flattened in our driveway. I got a donut put on by AAA in the early afternoon, called the Sawgrass Tires Plus Team, and got my daughter in and out within 2 hours. They were very busy but managed to work us in. It was greatly appreciated as I had to get back to work. I left my teen daughter with the car and they took care of everything in my absence. To all my Service Advicers: Nicholas, Johnathan, Marvin, Rafael, Shaw and Brian; all my Techs: John, Mike, Michael R., Breyahn, Benjamin, Travis and Courtney. These are some very honest and hardworking men. They alway let me know what is going on with my vehicles. They never pressure sell me and let me know what is a safety must fix. This allows me to budget my car expenses and keep my vehicles in tip top shape for me and my 3 daughter. Thanks a million guys!! You all Rock!!! read more

I'm here for an oil change and the person at the front desk told me that they needed to check my drain plug due to my car being a Subaru. I was immediately suspicious. I was a mechanic in the marines, I know about cars- it wouldn't be my drain plug but the crush washer. I told him he better not be setting up to charge extra on some bull%#^t charge that I don't need. (That crush washer is like 4 dollars. But the drain plug would be a lot more) He tells me that he's not charging me right now for anything. That line alone is suspicious. Right now?? Well yeah because you charge afterwards. I'm watching the mechanics and everyone is sitting around, chit chatting, on their phones... no wonder this takes so long. I'm not coming back here, I'm going to the dealership to get my oil changed. When he saw that I was suspicious (because I told him I was) he should have tried to put me at ease, instead he was very nonchalant about my concerns and tried to twist my words as if I was saying things that he didn't. Numerous times I told him "I never said you said that." His attitude is representing the company and I no longer trust these people. Sucks because I've spent thousands on service when I had my pickup. I wonder if it's because I'm a girl he thinks he can take me for a ride. read more

I've been to this location several times for tire puncture repairs only. The trick is to get there at 7am... that's when they open. If you are one of the 2-3 first customers, you are good to go. If you go later, you could be waiting for hours. read more

Went for an alignment , guy told me my shock was bent and it would cost about $450 to fix, $289 for the part and the rest for labor, THEN he would be able to do the alignment (another $80) . Found the part at the dealer $100 cheaper and took to my friend who works on cars to fix .... turns out that THE SHOCK IS NOT DAMAGED AT ALL !!! Soooo if you're a girl they will try to rip you off. The worst service ever. I went to get an oil change done on my f250 diesel and asked them if they had motorcraft filters and they said no, so I told them I'd bring my own oil filter cause with the 6.0s everyone says only use motor craft filters so I'm not gonna take a chance. The guy says yes you can bring your own filter and they would deduct the filter from the price of the oil change. I left work early to make I was there on time and the guy says about an hour and 15 so my girlfriend picks me up. We were gone for roughly an hour and a half and they call and say there isn't enough oil there to do my oil change, so I call back and asked if I could bring oil from Walmart their to finish my change. They say yes, so I get oil and they call me and say they won't do my oil change at all cause they aren't allowed to use the filter I supplied them with. I thought it was weird and told the guy when I called the day before that the guy said it's fine I can bring in my filter and the guy said you were talking to me so basically he called me a liar. So screw tires plus. I'll take my business elsware. read more

After posting this review I was contacted by the Area Manager the next day. He was very courteous and looked into my complaint. At the same time I had the vehicle fixed at another location. The oil leak was coming from a damaged seal between the oil filter housing and the oil cooler. It's uncertain how it happened or if it was caused by normal wear and tear. I do have to commend Tires Plus management for looking into this issue once made aware of the complaint. I will never take the vehicle back for service at this location. read more

ook the guys up front are very friendly and apparently knowledgable. Unfortunately it's the rest of the experience that is so frustrating. First both of the wheels that had tires replaced were scratched and had to be repaired. When they told me they used this wheel repair guy a lot I knew that was a bad sign. Why would a tire place damage so many wheels that they needed to have that kind of a relationship with a wheel repair guy. Then the TPMS light kept going off intermittently. First time I came back they assured me it would eventually reset itself. A week later with the problem persisting I came back and was advised you need to take it to the dealer to have it reset. We can't do anything else. As if spending another hour driving back and forth to the Nissan dealer was just a routine thing to do. Ask the dealer to reset it for free and oh well this happens all the time!!! NEVER AGAIN!! DONT USE THIS PLACE unless you don't care about your car and you have a very high threshold for B.S. read more

Went to have my tire changed. They changed the wrong tire. It was actually the tire they replaced for me one month prior. So if indeed the tire looked new, someone should have mentioned that the tire was new and did not need to be replaced. But they went ahead and changed it anyway not even checking the other tires. Once I brought to their attention that they changed the wrong tire, they went ahead and put back on the tire they took off in error and replaced the bad tire I originally requested they change, but scratched up BOTH of my rims in the process. I then brought that to their attention and they said they would have "their guy" see if they can buff it out. They said they would call me to schedule an appointment to bring it in and give a rental car because it would take all day and I have not heard from them since! Horrible experience, especially when I was a returning customer who came back about 1 month later. I would hate to think it's because I'm a woman who went in alone that this happened to me. The month before when I went to get my other tire replaced I went with a man and had no problems. Extremely dissatisfied! read more

I feel like they are out to get you! I came in on Feb 17th because I have a nail in a rear tire. They said that it could not be fixed!! Then I decided to get two new tires which actually they had suggested I need them a few month back. Well then they said I need new battery, oil change etc. by the time I was given the estimate it was $222.00 of course they had to order the tire since they did not have it in stock. Today feb 18th I come in and now they want to charge me for alignment. This people feel they can add more expenses each time you speak to them!! This is outrageous !! When you get two new tires balancing and alignment should be included, instead of charging a fee for each service!! read more

Finally was able to get a mechanic to verify whether or not the proposed work was legit including being told I have a "severe power steering leak" and I need a new rack & pinion. I didn't believe it and never saw the fluid on my garage floor nor see the fluid level drop. I found a trusted mechanic who looked at the car and shook his head in disgust at the obvious attempt to sell me something I didn't need. I will never use again. read more

To all those looking to use tires plus for any type of tire or mechanical work.. please think twice!! I usually give really fair reviews even if the service isn't that great but I could not let this one pass without warning others. I came in to Tires Plus to put on tires that I bought online from Nitto Tires, a credible tire company. The tires were inspected by my brother-in-law who is an ASE certified master mechanic for over 15 years. The tires were good. Tires Plus put them on and within 24 hours one of my tires went totally flat. I immediately went back and requested they look at it. I was still not too upset until they gave me a bunch of B.S. and lies. They proceeded to tell me I had a nail in my tire, upon inspection there was no nail to be found. So then they told me the tire was bad before they put it on. I argued that, and then they said I had a bad rim and it was bent before the tire was even installed.... More lies. My brother in-law came down and argued for 30 minutes before we convinced them to provide evidence to back up their claims. My brother in-law had to SHOW THEM HIMSELF how to use the their own equipment to test the rim, they were baffled and had no clue how to operate the machine. The rim was not bent and nor was the tire bad after proper inspection, they finally admitted they ripped the tire after more arguing and did not want to pay for the damage.... We threatened to call corporate and the manager gave us a tire after schooling his whole crew on how to install and operate the equipment. In conclusion, DO NOT USE TIRES PLUS! read more

Driving 40,000 to 50,000 miles per year for twenty years, my biggest asset is the reliability of a well maintained car. Over the years, I have found two honest and reliable shops to properly service my car and keep me on the road. Recently with some luck, I accidentally discovered Tires Plus located at 1865 North Flamingo Road, Sunrise, Florida 33323. The store manager's name is Nick Benvenuto. My purpose there was to purchase four run flat tires. To my delight, Nick Benvenuto with total honesty educated me on the pros and cons of run flat tires. The actual shocker of my visit and what precipitated this letter was he helped me with the price and extended the sales date. Looking back after all those miles driven, this was a first time experience. Never have I experienced such integrity and honesty. Obviously this was an overwhelming first time experience and I appreciated Nick's honesty. Maintaining your car is expensive and sometimes a hardship. Finding an honest repair facility is even harder. Finding this Tires Plus was most fortunate. Having peace of mind and knowing one is not going to get burned and ripped off is invaluable living in South Florida. I highly recommend this facility. read more

Dropped off my car for an oil change, tire rotation, and new battery. Before handing over my keys, I had reset my boost gauge to make sure my car wasn't being tampered with during it's time at Tires Plus. I also reset my trip "B" meter to ensure my car wasn't being tampered with or driven during it's time at Tires Plus. When I arrived a few hours later to pick up my car, i noticed that my car had reached it's max of 22psi on my boost gauge meter, and that the car had miraculously traveled 2 extra miles. When I asked the reps working at Tires Plus if they drove my car around, I was told that the car was taken from the lift and to the parking spot and that no one had driven it... Yet somehow my boost gauge was showing it hit 22psi AND traveled 2 miles. I highly doubt the distance from the lift to the parking spot is 2 miles or is it possible to hit 22psi from the lift to the parking spot. Don't trust these guys with your cars! Find somewhere else to go. read more

I'm not one to go out of my way to write a review, but I had a wonderful experience at this Tires Plus location! The entire staff was friendly, efficient, & exceptionally helpful! I had went in for an oil change, a wheel alignment & a flat tire. As I waited, I was offered coffee and was kept in the loop about what was going on with my car. I've never had a more professional experience in a mechanic shop. I was in and out in less than an hour and a half. I travel from Coconut Creek just to deal with the Store Manager Nick! I will GLADLY recommend this location to anyone. In fact, I have friends and family who have gone out of their way to come here as well and all feel the same way.
