I bought tires for my wife's Lincoln MkZ. The tires they originally installed seemed to pull to the right. I spoke to Mark, the manager and he was more than happy to do whatever it took to get the car riding like new. We went with a different brand and Mark made sure I (and my wife!) were happy and satisfied. I will tell you that the attitude regarding customer happiness and satisfaction was second to none. Mark and his staff were professional, helpful and very knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Yesterday my car started making a loud growling sound while driving that began out of the blue. I stopped here to get it looked at and get the problem resolved. Unfortunately I came in while the lazy fools they call mechanics were on shift and was told the sound coming from my car was due to "bad gasoline" being put into my car. The solution they gave me was to drive around until my full tank of gas ran out and then surely the problem would resolve itself. Their diagnosis did not sit right with me so I contacted my brother and he referred me to his personal mechanic. Well it turns out there was a hole in my exhaust pipe !!! I will insert a picture. Thankfully the mechanic was able to repair the problem the next day for me and of course the lawn mower like sound is now gone. Went to have my routine tire rotation and tire balanced and alignment done. I was shocked when I was told I need to have my axle in the front tires replaced because they were split in half and leaking and falling apart. when I asked how much they said $1000. I told him I would have my Mechanic take a look at it before they did anything to it. When I went to go pick up the car, the print out on the alignment was good enough and in range, although it was not much improvement from when I dropped it off. They said if I was not happy, please take my business elsewhere. They have there best mechanic who did the best work. I also had two new front tires done, which they were supposed to check the alignment. The last time I brought my car into be aligned and they forgot. I've never had such horrible customer service and disrespect. I've been coming here for years for tires as well as my family and And to be treated like this was unheard of and unexpected. The gentleman on front desk said they can't repair tires. Just added a temporary plug on a small hole, and they recommended just keeping like that. The right way to repair a tire is with a patch for long time. A lot people ask if is possible to add a patch after a plug, the answer is; ABSOLUTELY YES, a lot of factors have to be considered like the size of hole, the location, etc. but for a small screw on front area. They tell you one thing and do another. Brought my car in a while ago and had nothing but issues back to back. Had to come back the next day because they never bothered to check all fluids before sending me on my way, overheated driving. All they said was sorry and charged me more money after saying they would "only charge labor" but that included parts somehow too. Yesterday I came to this tire plus because I had a tire emergency at 11am I was told I'm sorry we won't be able to get to it until tomorrow I said that I lived in Homestead if they could help me at least put my spare on so i can drive home the female said I'm sorry there's nothing we can do we won't get to it until tomorrow.. So I basically had to replace my tire in front of a tire store in the blistering heat! To start off, this shop really lacks in customer service. The guy behind the counter typically seems half awake when you go to the counter, and really doesn't engage you at all. Purchased new tires from this shop for my car, and left with the alignment visibly being out of wack and feeling as though I was constantly fighting the car to keep it going on straight on the highway. Had to go back and let them know that's what the issue was, and sure enough I left with the car feeling like they hadn't done anything to it. Not to mention the grease and trash left behind inside my car by the mechanic. Fortunately I am fully capable of performing my own DIY alignment, but I don't have the same high tech machinery these "professionals" are capable of using. Sure am glad I paid for the lifetime alignment. Will not be going back to this location and I don't recommend anyone else to go either unless they enjoy wasting their time. read more

I made an appointment for tire rotation, alignment, and oil change for my 2003 truck. I must commend the staff at this location for their professionalism. I witnessed customers who wanted service "right away" without waiting. The gentlemen working the front counter remained calm while they were being hurled with insults and threats from customers saying they will never do business here again. I scheduled an entire day because I knew I had to wait on my truck and then bring in my 1998 Lexus for service as well. There are only a few establishments that perform work on my vehicles and this location is one of them. I'm pleased with the service and how I am treated. read more

The place is slam packed all the time, but needs better management. Don't make appointments you can't keep or don't take walk ins that will impact your ability to fulfill your appointments. I made an appointment and even dropped the vehicle off two hours early only to be told right before closing that they couldn't get to it. The day I made the appointment in person, two ladies were talking in the waiting room about how long they had been there and that they both had appointments. One said she had been there an hour just to get a tire plugged and the other for nearly three hours for a different issue. I made an appointment for 4:00pm and dropped it off at 2:00pm. I was informed two technicians had called in and that they were short staffed but would get it done before they closed. I came in at 6:00pm to be told they hadn't even looked at it yet. Only needed an alignment and tire rotation. They said said they would still get it done. I said are you sure because I don't want to wait if you can't. At 7:30pm the car still wasn't looked at so I took it and went home. I would recommend going anywhere else unless you can just leave it for a few days for even something minor. read more

I've used this Tires Plus for 13 years, and they have always been fair and done good work. Most recently, they have had turnover in management which has taken their customer service to less than zero. In early January brought my son's car that they have been servicing for 13 years in with an overheating problem, and they quoted 2,000 to repair a water pump, timing belt and thermostat. I agreed to the work being the car was in great shape. After a week the manager Mike Doyle informed me that the technician working on my car was not feeling well, and the car was completely disassembled thus pausing the repair job. Days later, they needed to close their shop as they had a few cases of Covid. I completely understood, as this was out of their control. The car was indoors on a lift, with the driver's side window open, and that's where the problem begins. Two weeks later when they reopened, the car was repaired. When I picked the car up I noticed rat feces on the floor, so I washed and cleaned the car the next day only to find a live rat in the glove compartment! After trying to drive the rat out of the car, it went under the dashboard and was never seen again. Two days later - you guessed it - the stench of dead rat in the car. I brought the car back asking the manager to remove the rat, and I left the car there. The car sat in front of the shop for two weeks in the sun, further destroying what was a great car. With no communication, I stopped by to see what was going on and Mike said they would turn it over to claims, which is their parent company Bridgestone. Another week went by with no communication. No one at Tires Plus or corporate would return calls - I left dozens of messages. I eventually got a call from a claims agent that gave me nothing but lip service, saying they could not prove it was their rat. Another two weeks without a car, going on two months. I have since junked the car for $500 as it was totally destroyed. I am now working through my attorney accordingly. Bridgestone-Tires Plus customer service from store manager to corporate is pathetic. If you don't want your car in a rat-infested repair shop, don't bring your car here, and especially don't leave it there. read more

I dropped my car off for a screw in the tire at 745 am. I had bought the tires an insurance from Ties plus. I called at 2 pm an was told 2 cars ahead of it. I called at 3 pm an was told 5 cars ahead of it. How is that possible? I arrived at 4 pm an still have not touched the car. I had my right rear tire replaced. The tire pressure was set at 51 vs the vehicle door jam of 36. I checked to see if they put any air in the spare that we were using and it was at 41 vs 60. I returned to the store today and ask why the technician would be not perform his easy job of replacing a tire and set the proper tire pressure? He said the tech was no longer employed. Seriously, did he quit or was he fired? Jim, the supervisor said that he's been gone. I then asked why other techs are signing in using an ex-employee's name. Again, no response, no apologies, no regrets. I said I wanted my spare set to 60 and to be refunded for the $18.46 for the labor charge, which were both granted. read more

Crooked con artists. Went by to ask if they knew why I suddenly had no brake lights at all. The guy said it could be numerous reasons and that he would need my car for at least 2 hours. All I saw was $$$. I didn't fall for it and waited until Monday to take it to my regular mechanic. He looked under my dashboard, saw a broken wire, replaced it and I was out the door in 10 minutes. Best of all he didn't charge me a dime. I hate dishonest people who think they can take monetary advantage of single females who they perceive as ignorant when it comes to cars. However, Cynthia's kind and calm explanation of the problem made me feel confident that I was leaving my car in good hands. I received another call the next day to explain that it was time to replace all spark plugs and coils. I was shocked at the price and the man on the phone was patient and explained details of the expense. After some of my own research, I learned that the price was fair. Had worst experience. Never thought they would do this to me. Just spent almost $1,000.00 there on my daughters car and went back with my magnum. They said the car was misfiring and with everything it would cost me $1,571.00, no problem, I've never had a problem with them before. My oil light started coming on and they said, they don't know why. Was told they don't know what else to do. I have 4 vehicles that I took to them, no more. The staff was excellent when I went in for new tires. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and didn't try to take advantage of me or upsell me. They were respectful of my time (I arrived at 8:45 and got a consultation, four new tires, an oil change, and an alignment and was out by just after 11). They got me a great deal on the tires. Bill Harmon (sales advisor) was top-notch; he explained everything he recommended, was personable without being pushy, and clearly knew his stuff. Also really liked Dave, who I believe was the manager. It's so hard to find good car care places but this location was a win. And free WiFi so I could get work done while I waited.
