Went to the store a couple days ago to have them look at my tire I purchased 8 months ago. Prior to that I had the car scheduled at another shop for a rotate and alignment. The other shop said the new tire was defective and should be replaced prior to an alignment. Never took a shot at Tires plus. When I went to the tire plus store in okeechobee Steve said 1. Must be something wrong with your car. 2. He is no mechanic and wouldn't know what to look for. 3. There always short staffed there so it would be 3-4 hours before any one could even look at it. 4. Other shops want to blame the tire versus there shop. Asked than why does Firestone give warranties on tires . Drove 48 miles to another Tires plus store and within 1 and a half hours they replaced the DEFECTIVE tire for a minimal charge . This is probably the 4th or 5th poor experience I have had with the Okeechobee store. I will NEVER EVER STEP FOOT IN THIS TIRES PLUS AGAIN. If I was a supervisor of that store I would blow it up and start over. Good luck read more

Splash guard on my car broke while on a road trip and these guys got me right asap. Service was amazing and the staff was outstanding. Now open on sundays they were also one of the only places that were able to accommodate us. Service was super fast would definitely recommend this place. read more

Man oh man! We had a blowout on our small travel van. Needed tires asap. Called them they had them, we got there and the van just sat for 2 hours. Didn't even get touched I kept asking how long they kept saying your next in line. 2 hours. At 530 we said nope and went to tire zone , new tires on within an hour! I cannot believe this place twice in a row I had a bad experience. The first time I came my hub caps "weren't staying on right" but wasnt told so lost 3 of my hub caps on the way home still no call back about it now I get a new tire and on my way to work my tired goes from 38 to 10 to 4 I'm now riding on rims then I call and all they kept saying was ok like they didn't know what to do . I never had a problem with my oil but with tires please save a life and go some where else . read more

Brother, friends and I set off for a short trip to do a little fishing. Fast forward , after an exhausting trip, that produced two flat tires and some major damages to his truck. We were fortunate enough to come across this location and the staff that finally got it right. After explaining out situation and tire needs. Steve, sales person (great guy) did everytrhgong he could to make sure my brother was not only satisfied with the tires selected. But Steve (sales) guy went above and beyond in making sure we were not only satisfied, but happy. Something that rarely happens, especially not theses days. Steve (manager) was the guy that finalized the visit. He was just as friendly and professional as the first Steve (sales guy)..regardless of which Steve you get. Think as with my brother and me...You'll be happy. Brother and I highly recommend for all of your tire and pretty much services. Got full synthetic oil and filter change with Pennzoil. Price per quart was over $18. Service manager tried to convince me this was a normal price. Just the oil price was over $126 for 7 qts. A complete oil change at Walmart for the same oil is $64. Will not be going back! read more

Recently brought my car in to replace a tire. Purchased the tire protection. Asked how much to replace and was told a couple bucks. Recieved the bill and it was $35 and $14.93 of it being tax. Recieved a call that I needed to have a $1500 brake job and the vehicle is unsafe. Took it to Lexus and the charge would of been a little over $600. Took it to a local reputable shop her in town and and it done with a synthetic oil change for $400. Our entire family(6 vehicle) are done after 35 years of going to tires plus. I will do everything in my power to shut down this business in Okeechobee. I will eat the rotation and warranty on the tires. read more

stay away from this place. not even worth 1 Star. we have an older jeep. a caliper froze and my husband brought it in. as soon as he saw my husband (Steve) said "I hope you brought your bank book because this is going to be expensive ". he did t even look at it yet but when my husbands face showed shock he mention "well, everything jeep is expensive ". we get a quote and he quoited $2800. at that point my husband lost his patience and expressed it. Steve looked shocked that he was questioned on the price. my husbands like Try again. all the customers were watching. all of a sudden the quote was $1100.00. was told it would take 90 minutes. all of a sudden he said we needed new shocks and our valve cover was leaking. our shocks were replaced 6 months ago and why was he looking under the hood for a brake problem?????? and to boot he held my husband hostage for 7 1/2 hrs for a 90 minute brake job. this guy is a thief. I'm calling corporate (owned by Firestone/Bridgestone and complaining about this obnoxious thief. stay away. you have been warned read more

I had a brand new tire with a screw in the sidewall which could not be repaired. I went to multiple places to try to get a new tire but everyone was too busy. The manager at this location was very helpful. He ordered a new tire had it on our car the next business day as was able to get it replace under a warranty that I didnt even know was available. I went for a simple tire repair. There was a screw in one of my tires. The tires were purchased there and still under warranty. Mechanic told me the tread was too worn and that he couldn't repair it. Still have 30,000 miles on the warranty, but they said they couldn't honor it because it was the wrong brand. We have the receipt showing we bought the tires from them and he admitted it, but said the tires had to be Firestone or Goodyear for them to honor the warranty. He tried to sell me a new tire. Why sell tires with the warranty if you're not going to honor it? The manager wouldn't acknowledge me nor the tire issue. I left and took my car to St. Lucie Battery and Tire to patch my tire. Last week, I called Wes at Tires Plus five minutes before closing time in a complete panic. I had a huge piece of metal sticking out of my tire, I had 45 minutes more to go before I would be home, and Gilbert Ford (where I had been a "valued customer) had told me "so sorry, we're closing - call a local tire place." Not only did Wes call one of his technicians back in (everyone had already left for the day) but he and that technician stayed open an extra 45 minutes to make sure I had a new tire and was safe to go back out on the road and get home. What a wonderful surprise to have a company, that had never dealt with me previously, treat me with such amazing customer service. I just went back this week for an oil change. Again, I was treated like a truly valued customer and the conversations I heard the service managers having with other customers were equally wonderful. If you go to this location, do not deal with Stephen. He was extremely rude and very unprofessional. The way he was blatantly condescending while trying to overcharge me was sickening. It was a horrible experience. I have never had someone talk down to me in such a manner. I went in to get a service check for my car and to see about a check engine light that was going off about a fuel cap. Stephen immediately dismissed it being the fuel cap. Later, after starting and getting partially through a smoke test (that he said was necessary since he said there was a leak), he told us that it was the fuel cap was damaged. He still tried to charge us for the full smoke test until I complained. Why would I pay for something that wasn't even halfway completed? Especially when just checking the fuel cap (which I said was the issue) was the problem. He was also extremely rude throughout all of the interactions I had with him. Thinking he was clever in the way he called me fat and stupid. I wouldn't laugh at his jokes, so he would turn to my partner and say " yeah, she doesn't get the joke. ha ha." and " the tires are imbalanced as if they were carrying a heavy load." looks dead at me and says " like 200 pounds." I am not skinny but I am no where near 200 pounds. And let me say, the dude has no room to talk about weight. Basically, I just paid money to get air in my tires and to get treated like garbage. Went on line made an appointment for 2 new tires. I selected the tires I wanted and printed out the quote to take with me as suggested. I received a confirmation of the appointment by email after it was confirmed they had my tires according to a previous email... When I got to the store, 10 minutes early I might add, they told me they had my size tires but not the brand I selected. The tires they had were $40 dollars more per tire. Bait and switch tactic if you ask me. Very disappointing. Will take my business elsewhere from now on! read more
