I had done a lot of research…read moreon lifting my FJ Cruiser and upgrading to bigger tires, but I still wasn't sure if 285/75/16s would fit with a 2.5" front and 1.5" rear lift -- and no BMC. Yasir helped me lock in the Bilstein 5100 setup I had been wanting, and took the time to actually order in different tire options so I could see them in person. I was originally leaning toward a lesser-known brand due to budget concerns, but Yasir was honest about the quality differences. He clearly explained the pros and cons of each option, which I really appreciated. In the end, I went with my go-to off-road tire: the Falken Wildpeak AT4W. Now my FJ looks mean -- running 285/75/16 Wildpeaks, with a 2.5" lift up front, 1.5" in the rear, and no BMC needed! A few months back, I also picked up a set of Method Wheels from the shop, which was another solid recommendation from Yasir. I absolutely love them. Luckily the guys at Rancho were able to see me in short notice. I spoke with Shaun in person and they took my car in. Afterwork I came back and the car was finished and they showed me the damaged tie rod, which was extensive. The guys at rancho took care of me and I'll be taking my business here in the future.

That's bad business he gave me the crappiest tire he had because we wanted him to hold up his word and charge us 50$ like he said he would on the phone. Don't waste your time, had to spend another 50$ 3 days later anyways, I would have been better off just going and getting a new tire elsewhere.

I made an appointment for 1:30 for a tire rotation and arrived on time. I was told the service…read morewould take about an hour, but my car didn't even go into the work bay until around 2:15. Afterward, the staff told me I needed to return after driving 25 miles for a quick check--no appointment needed. After the rotation, my tire pressure indicator light came on. So, as instructed, I returned once I'd driven the 25 miles. When I walked into the office, I stood at the counter while the staff member looked at his cell phone. After a minute or two, he finally looked up but still didn't say anything. I had to initiate by saying, "I'm here for my 25-mile checkup," and honestly, I felt like I was interrupting him. He put down his phone, asked if I had actually driven the 25 miles (which was obvious from why I was there), and then sent a technician out to check my car. When the tire technician came out, I told her the tire pressure indicator light had come on. She told me that a tire rotation has nothing to do with the indicator light. I've since learned that's not entirely accurate. While a rotation shouldn't cause a TPMS sensor to fail, it can trigger the need for a relearn/reset, and sensors can be disturbed during handling. Pressure changes during the process can also set off the system. So her blanket statement wasn't fully correct. She suggested I replace all four tire pressure sensors since my car is older and the system couldn't identify which one had the dead battery. Given the age of my car, I agreed, and to their credit, they were able to get the work done right away ($258.28). Overall, I think replacing the sensors was the right call, but I didn't appreciate the misinformation about tire rotations having "nothing to do" with TPMS issues. Combined with the delays and the less-than-welcoming customer service, the experience left something to be desired.
