Nick set up a 40 x 40 ft tent flawlessly, provided all the lighting and the table chairs, dishes etc etc - basically everything. He then set up an on-site kitchen that delivered with some of the best food: His chateaubriand grilled on a charcoal grill was outrageous. His calamari was tender and cooked on sight. His salads were fantastic, and even the asparagus was great. For dessert his Banana foster garnered rave reviews. Likewise for his shrimp, salmon and lamb chops. No one left hungry or disappointed. Nick had the good thought at our home based wedding located on the Great South Bay to drop the flaps on the tent when the wind picked up at the end of the ceremony. We didn't have to tell him - he anticipated what we needed for the event to be a success. That is Nick's secret - his experience and cooking expertise makes him anticipate your needs before you do! His crew of 6 were so helpful and caring. Every guest told us it was the best wedding they had been to. Why? Great food, caring help, smart plentiful choices. When the great evening was done, the backyard was left spotless with almost no reminders a great event occurred there. I wish I had photos to add but we were all busy enjoying ourselves, so I will post when we get them from the photographer Thank you Nick and the Tanglewood crew- you are the best!

Anything that you want, Nick and his team can make happen for you. We have referred Nick and Tangelwood to family and friends and they were all extremely satisfied. Our guests always rave about the variety and quality of the food, as well as the service they receive. They all love to listen to Nick's friendly banter while he tells them how good the food is. :) Karen & Darren

When we came across Silver Spoon and spoke to the owner Jeanine, I knew we wanted to use their service for our special day. She was kind and comforting on the phone while being the upmost professional. Not to mention how many emails we exchanged (large part from myself being a bride) just made the experience leading up to the big day that much more appreciated. As for the food everything was wonderful we did a menu more like a bbq and added lobster rolls to the mix (I love lobster & husband loves bbq) but the number one thing on their menu that I still crave is their jalapeño honey butter corn bread! Seriously need to try it if you can. The Team! I cannot say enough about the team they were so sweet and so accommodating, flexible and just made you really feel like we hired the right people to do the right job. I am in the customer service industry and I was beyond pleased with each and every one of them. We hired a Bartender, two wait staff and a chef all of them have the best personalities and just made you feel the way you need to at your wedding. Jeanine - one thing to never let go of is your team with how wonderful the food was they really took the cake on presenting your company and services on a very special day. All in all I would book Silver Spoon for any event small or large in the future without hesitation!

I especially enjoyed the planting oath he had us take before we started. My only complaint came with the supplies. I was hoping we would get more than 3 succulents, or to at least get to choose the ones we used, but I do understand that can be difficult to manage. And in the end it worked out for me because the original planter I wanted had run out and was bigger, so the three plants I received fit nice--the bigger one would have had too much empty space. Also, by the time some of the decorations made their way to our end of the table it was slim pickings. Steven did alternate which end of the table he started at, but I felt like for the price you should be able to get the specific supplies you wanted. Even with that, I still had a nice time and would totally do a Yaymaker event again. They're always a fun night out.

It didn't hurt when they let me go this in the beginning of this year I'm just upset with myself that I played myself in to thinking that this one would work out in my favor one of the reasons I'm not as optimistic as I uses to be is because of aspects like this I only have good intentions for myself and only wish to succeed in life in the job of my choice and only want to keep aiming high for my longterm goals for myself I don't think there is anything that Tapuz Staffing can't do but when it comes down to employment the first step is consideration for employees.

Working for this company has been a frustrating experience. I've had both good and bad times, but…read morelately, it has mostly been bad. The hiring process is lengthy, and employees have to buy their own work clothing. Despite having over five years of serving experience, I am only being paid $24 an hour. I work for several agencies, and Tapuz offers the lowest pay of them all while demanding the most. They even expect you to do dishwasher duties for minimal compensation. Recently, I've noticed, along with my coworkers, that only a certain race seems to be getting all the shifts. Those who aren't receiving shifts are mainly Black and Hispanic employees. It's disheartening to see this kind of inequality at work. I've lost a lot of respect for Tapuz over the last four months. I have never experienced anything like this until now, and it is very disturbing for both myself and my coworkers. This company also does not protect its employees when clients are extremely rude to us, which is very disheartening. Additionally, we are facing issues with racist management towards Black and Spanish employees, while also dealing with mistreatment from clients. I highly advise against wasting your time here!

My husband and I eloped, and planned this celebration a year later for 80 friends. Dish understood our "vision" of the night from the start - we wanted a relaxed and fun evening, with all of our favorite people and things. They made our favorite foods as the mains (tacos and pasta), with delicious and beautiful hors d'oeuvres, and sooo many incredible sides (the adorable cups of Caesar salad were a huge hit!). The food was absolutely perfect - we had so many unprompted compliments from our guests about the food throughout the night. Including our Nova Scotian friends absolutely loving the lobster rolls, and they would have been the harshest critics! Everything was somehow even more delicious than it was at the tasting. We also had a few gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free guests, and Dish had no problem either adapting or adding options to the dishes to ensure that there would be enough to eat for all the dietary preferences we threw at them! Julianna even made gorgeous signs (to match our wedding website!) that accompanied each food item to ensure no dietary mishaps. We heard rave reviews from our guests about the bartenders and servers, and all the staff were so happy and personable. We have no idea how they managed to pull off so much behind the scenes while literally everyone seemed so cheerful, calm, and professional all night long. My husband and I were truly free to enjoy ourselves and be with our friends without a single thought to logistics, and there are no words for how much that meant to us. Extra thanks to Stella as well, our amazing night-of captain! Beyond the delicious food, the entire experience working with Dish was full of incredible surprises that show just how thoughtful, prepared, and seriously GREAT AT THIS they are. From the moment we walked into the tasting (January 2024) and they had set up the Lobster and Rose cart as an extra surprise, until the very end of the event when they presented us with a tote bag full of thoughtfully and carefully packed containers with some of almost every single dish. They knew, even before we did, that leftovers are one of the best ways to relive the magic! Julianna was truly a godsend every step of the way - menu choices; floor planning; advice on everything - rentals, furniture, DJ; brainstorming ways to make our poutine dreams come true; never forgetting a single detail mentioned in any interaction; and so, so much more. More than that - she did it all with SO much support and thoughtfulness. Dish felt like so much more than a caterer, they were genuinely partners in planning the wedding celebration of our dreams. We sincerely hope that there will be an opportunity to work with Julianna and Michael in the future - thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
