They don't just teach you steps; they take the time to educate you on the "why" and "how," ensuring you have a strong foundation to help you be your very best at whatever goal you're reaching for. Then there's the rest of the Fred Astaire Cypress team: Elena, the studio manager; Ellie, Magui, Edina, and Barnabas, who are equally as amazing as their counterparts. All of them bring an unbelievable amount of skill and quality of dancing to every student. I guess that's why they are the pros! With that said, it can be so easy to lose that quality, momentum, or high energy with the amount of students they work with one-on-one, the group classes, the long hours to ensure every student receives the same level of time and training, plus their own training they do after hours. The dedication is unmatched. Every single one of them, including Hector and Tim, not once have I seen anyone lose that momentum and energy in the four months I've been coming. The front staff is very kind - they have worked with me in terms of financial situations and have always welcomed my daughter regardless. Mrs. Hitt has been my daughter's teacher since she first started and my daughter admires Mrs. Hitt very much. She refuses to go to any other dance school or teacher because she has so much love and respect for her ABS teacher. Recitals are well organized and very memorable. There are fees that come with it such as the costume fee, recital fee, and separate tickets fee. I don't find it a problem and they handle the entire recital ordeal very well.

My girls have been going to Adrenaline Athletics for the past four years. At a monthly evaluation recently, her coach made her do a combination movement that she did not want to do and she let her coach know that. She did not have the proper training or safety to perform it on her own. It ended up with her breaking her arm. Another family member had taken her to class that day and I have asked for a written explanation many times from the school and they have not responded. I did receive a call from one of the owners saying that she did not see what happened and she hadn't spoke to the instructor, which was not helpful to what I am asking - why was my daughter asked to do something on her own when she did not want to and without protections and without the necessary experience to execute the movement. On the call the owner explained that gymnastics is unpredictable, but that is why the school and instructors should be training in a way to avoid injuries. Some injuries may happen, but when making girls do things on their own when they are not ready is not right. Now my daughter never wants to do gymnastics again. She has gone through so much pain with her broken arm and a painful surgery. The school's silence on this is disheartening.
