My husband & I adopted our Pomeranian from Cherie in March 2019 after a family friend adopted a puppy from her and we could not be happier with our little boy. He is everything we were looking for in a puppy: healthy, smart, sweet, playful, loving, and very happy. I am giving Cherie 4/5 stars due to the following: 1. She was not been the best communicator before we purchased our fur baby. Her website says that the best way to contact her is via text, but before securing our puppy, she would take a long time to answer our questions or simply not answer our text messages in the amount of time she said she would. Once our puppy was selected and paid for, Cherie answered all our questions and sent us pictures whenever we requested them. 2. We paid $1K and our puppy was projected to be 4-5lbs max, but he is already 6lbs at 4 months. My husband & I do not care about his size too much, so this did not bother us as much and we are not looking for a partial refund, but I could see why this would upset customers who were expecting a very small dog. We asked Cherie how much he weighed when we picked him up and she said "about 1lb." we weighed him when we got home and he was actually 2.4lbs at 8 weeks, so we knew he was not going to be 5lbs max. Obviously, there's always a risk when purchasing a living creature because there is no way to know %100 everything about their health, personality, etc. With that said, I do believe good business practices are important and I am sorry to read that others are not happy with their situations. Cherie probably needs to outline her policies in black/white regarding health guarantees and refund policies. I would still recommend her to friends/family because 90% of our experience has been amazing. read more

Cherie is amazing with all the pups. An excellent hobby breeder. I got my tiny Pomeranian from her. 3 pounds but I would not care if she was the average 15 pound Pom weight! Loving lady!!!! So we went back and returned the puppy on a sunday and she said she would issue us a FULL refund on the next business day...It took her over a month to issue a partial refund, she kept giving us the run around. After purchasing a "Yorkie" from Cherie Lane dba Tiny Fur Baby and about 7 months of waiting and being given many excuses I finally received the AKC registration for my puppy only to read it and see that it has the wrong dob and sires name. She refuses to correct it as it will cost money. This "lady" is a liar and a thief! My puppy does not look completely like a Yorkie he has thick straight hair and only resembles a Yorkie by his coloring but time after time Cherie said over and over he is full blooded Yorkie. On her website it states all puppies come with registration papers. I would suggest you do research on her name and "My puppy paradise" in Michigan and you will see a very interesting article on her and her history of breeding puppies. I have asked for a partial refund which she refuses so this is one way to get the truth out about this so called breeder and her lies I just hope somehow this will not continue to happen to other people. Half Maltese, half Shih Tzu male dog. We got him as a puppy, paid $400. He is just over a year old now. Happy, energetic, and slightly stubborn. He is great with kids. Rarely barks at other dogs. On his first trip to the veterinarian he was diagnosed with an umbilical hernia. We called the breeder and she explained that it was normal and it really shouldn't be a big deal. The vet told us just to keep an eye on it and they would fix it when he was neutered. It was an additional $90 to fix the hernia at the same time as the neutering. He is now 9.5 lbs, I can't remember how many pounds the breeder told me he would be (6-7 maybe?). The breeder advised us to purchase Angel Eyes which would keep the under eye area clear and white. However, the veterinarian strongly advised against because it is an antibiotic and dogs should not be exposed to antibiotics if unnecessary. All in all, we are happy and in love with our baby but next time I would adopt a dog instead. read more
