I feel like this place is overhyped by people who don't actually drink bubble tea... This is more of a glorified drink bar. It's literally just juice or flavored syrup that everyone likes. The actual milk teas are all just watered down. The Vietnamese coffee to me tastes like regular western coffee you can make out home or find at any other coffee shop. Whatever they use for that isn't legit which is to be expected anyways. Plus their boba feels undercooked. If you're getting some kind of fruit syrup drink with sugary popping pearls, I think you're fine (it's the reason I gave this two stars) but you won't get a decent milk tea or Viet coffee here. I think the best thing they've got to offer is probably the taro soft serve since the macarons are over priced. It was OK. I'm a sucker for sticking the the bubble tea shops I know and love. Tiny Bubble was almost overwhelming in the number of options. I tried the galaxy, Chai, and some other beverage made up by a toddler. The non coffee beverages were good..really sweet although I said 50% sweet. No complaints. I really liked the kiosk so I could stare at the menu and customize at my leisure and not feel rushed by a associate (not saying they were rushing but I looked at every picture and read nearly every description...you can't do that at the counter when other customers are waiting.) Cute shop and pretty good boba tea within the shopping center. I was able to pick up some Georgia souvenirs and saw some cute trinkets while I was here. The boba was decent. I was expecting the boba to be a little stale but it was pretty good. I got the rose flavored boba because I don't see it very often in cafes, coffee shops, and boba places. This is probably the best tea place in Marietta.. not that I can think of another off the top of my head. They are located in the square so parking beware! It's near the pizza place and is attached to a gift shop. I didn't browse the gift shop because I was late to a friend's but it seemed to garner a lot of attention from others. They have a poke stop near or on them so they have Pokemon themed teas when I went. They have a large selection of teas and​ plenty of add ins to choose from. I was excited that they offered more flavors of popping jelly like pomegranate. They also sell macaron queen and have a small selection of baked goods. Their staff was friendly but the wait was several minutes before we could order. May have been due to people ahead of us because it didn't take us long to order at all. Tea was ready within a minute or two so it's all premade for iced teas. I don't remember the exact price but I wasn't shocked by it so it was average (under $5). Cobb County and the Atlanta northwest OTP suburbs now have some real bubble tea. I emphasize "real" because I haven't had great experiences with bubble tea in Cobb up to this point. I was pleasantly surprised with my first visit to Tiny Bubbles Tea Bar, Marietta's new bubble tea shop located on the Square. It opened April 24, 2015. For those of you familiar with bubble tea, Tiny Bubbles isn't your typical Asian-owned bubble tea joint. It's not like Quickly, Kung Fu Tea, or Sweet Hut on Buford Highway. (Note: A Sweet Hut location in Kennesaw is supposedly in the works.) It's more along the lines of Poncey-Highland's Honey Bubble -- trendy, but instead of a modern-industrial feel, it's more of a homey "mom and pop" shop. There are less Asian flavors like Winter Melon and White Gourd and more "American-friendly" flavors like Peaches & Cream, Pina Colada, and Chocolate-Covered Strawberries. Tiny Bubbles fits in nicely with Marietta Square and the surrounding neighborhood. It looks like a little boutique. That's because it partially is. The back of the store houses The Vineyard Gift Shop, a small store that stocks an ever-rotating selection of unique gifts. You can buy the same loose leaf teas used to make the tea at Tiny Bubbles inside the The Vineyard Gift Shop. Both stores are owned by the same family. One of the owners, Brielle, is friendly and enthusiastic. Best of all, she positively engages and listens to her customers and is receptive and open to new ideas. The shop isn't very big. There's seating inside for about 10-15 customers at tables and a counter at the window which faces the Square. There are also umbrella-covered tables outside on the charming sidewalk patio. For those of you not familiar with bubble tea, it's a tea beverage from Taiwan. Bubble tea is typically sweet, milky, served on ice, and has sweetened tapioca pearls (a.k.a. "boba") on the bottom which are sucked up with the tea through extra-wide straws. Tiny Bubbles brews its teas in-house and add a variety of sweeteners including brown sugar, honey, and sweetened condensed milk. There are over 15 creamy teas which include flavors such as Almond Rooibos (caffeine-free herbal tea), Vanilla Chai, Matcha (green tea), Thai, Royal Milk, and Taro. These run about $4-5 each in 20-24 ounce servings. Toppings (e.g. tapioca pearls, popping boba) are included. Options include black or green tea as well as dairy-free, organic soy milk, and coconut milk (on occasion). There are about a half-dozen clear fruit-flavored teas, roughly $3-4 each, including Lychee, Mango, and Passion Fruit; "regular" iced teas (e.g. Peach iced tea) and hot teas including French press tea that run about $3 each; and strong, Cold Brew Coffee and Vietnamese Iced Coffee for around $4 each. In addition, there are small treats such as macarons (2 for $3.50), $2 scones from local bakery Seven Sisters Scones, as well as cakes and muffins for sale. Credit cards are accepted and payments are processed via the snazzy ShopKeep POS system on an iPad. Receipts can be conveniently sent to you via text or email. I tried one of Tiny Bubbles' most popular teas, the Peaches & Cream, which was winner of "Tastiest Beverage" at Taste of Marietta 2015. The tea was made to order and tasted good. I opted for the regular sweetness level and found it to be just right (for "regular" sweet). Since I prefer less sweet tea, I'll probably ask for less sweet in the future. The tapioca pearls were okay. They were sufficiently soft and chewy, but not as delectably super soft (almost pudding-like, but not quite) as I like them from the other places. Everyone's preference (and preparation method) for boba is different. In addition to tapioca, I got popping boba in my Peaches & Cream tea. You can get half tapioca and half popping boba and it will still count as only one topping. As best as I can recall, popping boba flavors available included strawberry, kiwi, mango, and one other fruit. I had the strawberry and it tasted fine, just like all the other popping boba I've tried, usually at frozen yogurt shops. Unlike regular boba, popping boba are spherical jellies that, when bit into, burst in your mouth with a fruity flavored liquid. Sort of like Fruit Gushers, but lighter and more delicate. I also tried a special tea, Pineapple Avocado. It tasted exactly how it sounds. It had a bold, distinct flavor which was very fruity, tropical, and refreshing. I like the sturdy plastic cups with open-top, snap-shut lids and the Tiny Bubbles branded corrugated cup sleeves with the #TinyBubblesTeaTime hashtag. These are nice, cute touches. Sarah was one of our servers and she was great. Both she and her coworker were friendly and they were knowledgeable when it came to the menu. Parking at Marietta Square is free if you can find a space. This Bubble Tea Bar is fantastic! The lines may sometimes be long but they move fast and the drinks are totally worth it. I had a Creamy Honeydew jumbo tea for $6.50 which included Green Apple Poppers. They have so many different flavors and poppers to choose from. They also have a fantastic motto! If you don't like it or it's too sweet, they will be happy to remake it for you. You can also make your drink as sweet or unsweet as you'd like. Compared to the REAL Taiwanese bubble-tea places we have in Toronto, this place was only average by Toronto standards. Also, everything always seems to have a way over the top amount of sugar, everywhere ... not just here - even if you ask for 25% sugar, your teeth feel like they are falling out of your head with the sugar content. The boba itself seemed to be smaller than what we are used to at home, and it had a borderline "burned/caramelized" flavour (which you don't get in Taiwan and certainly not at the places we go to at home in Toronto). This is a legit bubble tea place. Not the typical "Asian" feeling, but I did see an Asian guy working there who seemed to be the manager. Flavors are more mainstream/sweet/fruity (peaches, thai tea, cream, etc), but they do have real tea-brews and are able to offer sugar regulation: 100, 75, 50 or 25%. They also offer hot versions. Highlights: -It's in Marietta Square, which is nice to walk around and there are benches to sit on as well. -It's adjoined to a gift shop called Vineyard, which sells lots of neat gifts, Christian things, and cute canisters of the tea brewed at Tiny Bubbles. Totally giftable, and you can also request a bubble tea in a particular flavor even if it's not on the menu. This is the first bubble tea shop that I've come across that offers popping bubbles. The drink was really good. I believe I got the small for $3.50 ish, maybe? I know for sure the large is $6.00 and it's huge. I adore their staff. They all are SUPER sweet and friendly. Tiny Bubbles delivers on it's promise of bubble tea. It's hard to mess up, but it's also hard to do "right." What are the parameters of doing bubble tea "right?" Customers choose their own flavorings and sweetness, so what makes a bubble tea spot stand out is the non-tea items available. The tea is solid, but Tiny Bubbles lost a star for me is because the non-drink options are lackluster. They have 5-7 different macaron flavors available at a time, as well as small chocolates. Considering it's located on Marietta Square, a plain and simple selection makes sense. However, that is all they offer besides the recent addition of cookie dough bites. It's a bit basic and contrived in my opinion. It doesn't sound like it would really pair with (mostly) cold tea drinks. Besides those items, you can buy Tiny Bubbles merch, like stickers and reusable boba tumblers. COVID-19 response: Tiny Bubbles had a pretty basic handling of the pandemic. Online or touchless orders to minimize contact with the staff. You cannot order face to face and must use the in store kiosk. This causes some problems, because there is no external menu for customers to look at while waiting. Every person must stand there and scroll through all the drink options, select the drink they want, customize toppings-sweetness-ice, and rinse/repeat for other items. Regulars probably have no issue, but being stuck behind someone who has never been or has a large order can be annoying. Seeing 4 people behind you wanting to order is a bit anxiety inducing. Tiny Bubbles' large written menu is mounted on the wall behind the order counter, but you cannot walk to the area to view it because it is blocked off. If they just recreated the menu on a poster for the lobby, this would save some headaches. read more

I got a matcha tea with almond milk, traditional pearls and 50% sweetness. It was absolutely delicious! The customer service is top-tier. Tiny Bubbles is also a great place to sit and get work done. There is lots of seating and there are outlets all around to charge your devices. I usually visit the vietnamese restaurant on cobb pkwy for my bubble tea fix but i'm glad theres a location closer to home! I tried the Lavender milk tea which was delicious! The employees were very helpful and made sure the tea was to my liking before I left the shop. They also put a great amount of boba's in the tea, which is awesome, because some places are usually stingy with the pearls, so that was a major plus! But the huge kicker for me was that they offer almond milk as a substitute and a non dairy cream option! Stopped by after eating lunch with a friend. It was a Thursday afternoon and wasn't busy at all. Service was friendly and sweet. I got the lychee Tea with aloe and tapioca. The tea tasted good but a little sweet for my preference. Usually when I add aloe or tapioca to any drink it also adds to the sweetness level of the overall drink. Tapioca was soft and chewy. I think the menu was confusing for me but I think the intent was to make it easy for people who haven't had boba before so they could understand the difference between milk tea and just regular tea, which is understandable. I came here upon the request of my little sis who loves bubble tea and I didn't expect to get anything. However, I decided to sample some of their fall flavors (I'm a pumpkin lover) and was sold. I decided to get the Vanilla Chai bubble tea and asked for a small amount of the tapioca pearls because I'm really turned off by the idea of chewing on something gelatinous in texture (*shudders in disgust*). I also got one of their vegan pumpkin chai cupcakes, which was delicious. I really like that you can have a tea that is not overly sweet or as sweet as you'd like it. My tea was just right, and it complemented the cupcake very well. This place has plenty of teas and combinations of tea to try, so sampling does help! The staff there are also very friendly, which adds to the experience and they have a decent amount of seating available. We love coming to this tea bar! From the outset it looks fun and quaint. The set up is super cute with some nice tables and chairs including a couple by the window overlooking the square. It is not super bright inside which gives it a cozier feeling to it. On the ordering and pick up side there are two cash registers. For the most part, only one is ever open. You have a great deal of choices to make and I will say that if you are not prepared they are not going to look kindly upon you so make sure you know what you are getting. They also have a nice selection of macaroons and chocolates but in my opinion a little pricey. They have pretty good deals if you are a regular and do their points app. Once you are served they always tell you to try it and let them know if it's ok. They put out sweetener in case you don't get your tea or coffee sweet enough. They are pretty fast with the orders. The shop connected to them has board games available that you can use while having your tea. It is a neat idea if you just want to wile the time away a little bit! I'm very frustrated. I bought a reusable cup for what was already a little pricey because I used to frequent this place a lot and I'm all for reducing plastic waste. But after falling maybe 4ft off a short table it completely shattered. When I called to see if I could come into exchange it I was told no, because it wasn't defective, but I would call that pretty defective and poorly made. Everyone greeted us warmly and asked us to let them know if everything was fine. + Setting. Clean and nice to sit. Next door is a boutique to browse as you wait for your drink order to get filled. What makes bubbles sink-'s: - Tapioca balls (ie boba or in this case, bubbles) were hard. They should be soft and chewy which is the standard. I've had enough of them in Taiwan and in San Francisco to know. I'm not being picky. The whole entourage I brought with we me didn't finish their respective bubble teas and shared the same sentiment. - Poppers. The idea that some flavor would burst as you sucked up a ball and chewed down on them sounds actually fun. When the flavor that pops is not melding with your drink then it's a reaction of horror. Yogurt poppers with Thai iced tea is one such combo that doesn't work. Sour yogurt and sweet ice tea is foul. I'd return but not order anything with bubbles. One time I explained this place and how the drinks worked so well, one the the sweet ladies behind the desk offered me a job on the spot. I was very flustered. My shining moment. If you are not familiar with Boba tea, boba or bubble tea is a tea based treat that has tapioca pearls. What makes this place different are the flavors and how they make their drinks. Other places just use powder, but I feel like this uses the real thing. You can control the ice or the sweetness of your drink. If you are not feeling tea, they have coffee and hot chocolate during winter. And if you want a little bit, they have the award-winning macaroon. I'll spare the details on how their drinks are made, but know that they are high quality stuff. And they put so much into their work. They want to make sure you enjoy your drink. They always ask you to try it and let them know if it is too sweet or not sweet enough. They can fix it so you can leave happy. My two favorites are the Taro milk tea and the Matcha green tea. For those not familiar with Taro, it is a root based plant that is similar to a potato. It has a subtle sweetness of a vanilla. Don't let the color discourage you. I think of the color of that of a purple yam. Matcha is a supercharged green tea. I use to have popping pearls (fruit flavored liquid in a pop-able form..), but now I just use none. My boyfriend's favorite is their Vanilla Chai and the Honeydew tea. He would finish the Honeydew before I'm halfway done with my drink - he loves it so much. They have just expanded their shop again. So it has so much more seats, which is great for a small group. I use to love studying here, but it got so crowded, and I saw so many people I know, I never got things done. haha. Super cute bubble tea spot in Downtown Marietta. Came here for the first time last year and fell in love with the rustic and cozy feel of the cafe. Loved the variety of tea drinks and bubble tea options they had. I opted for my go to item- bubble milk tea. Also, I tend to get taro milk tea at a lot of the bubble tea spots. The flavor I got was great and the bubbles were a nice texture. Staff was friendly and helpful. The turnaround time from order to pick up was very good as well. I look forward to coming back here before a show at the theater next door or a meal at Kiosco. read more
