Critical: Professionalism, Quality I brought in a dealership new 2020 brz. Paid good money for the mid tier tinting all the way around. I got my car back 4 hours past the quoted time. Which is ok. However, I got it back covered in tinting solution. Inside and out. I washed and detailed it this morning to find an absurd amount of scratches. Hood, roof, fenders, and rear bumper. I called and spoke to Isaak. He explained that it is virtually impossible that this could have happened as they don't cut tint on a car. All of these scratches are consistent with lining up the film and cutting. And or dragging tools along my car. I've been redirected to JR, and I hope he contacts me asap. I've had plenty of higher end vehicles done here, planned on two more, and this is an absolute first. I will not recommend or return until this is made right. A brand new car... Update: went back up to show damage to JR. Told him I washed the vehicle to prep for my aero install. Says I must have scratched it using a microfiber towel. Gouged, extended scratches with a microfiber towel... He offered to show me video in the shop, which clearly isn't going to show the vehicle 100% in their possession. I can say with 1000% certainty, they were not there when I handed Isaak my key fob. So between me handing him my key, and watching it pull up to the curb, it was damaged by someone or something. Neither want to take responsibility, and I will trash this place to anyone who will listen. It happened at some point in their possession. If they can own up to their own negligence, then I will consider changing this review. I can make more money. I cannot make more time. And I was just robbed of a lot of time. read more

After searching reviews of all the tint shops in my area I chose Tintsmith. Their promises of quick work and seamless tinting sealed the deal. In stock they have 3 grades of tint: Elite being top, Endurance middle, and Basic. They also have tint options of 35%, 20%, or 5%. 5% looks like a limo. I walked in to set up an appointment, and he asked my make of car (05 legacy GT), which tint I want (endurance), how dark (20%), and wether or not I wanted the sun strip on the windshield for another $20 (my car had one so I passed). He informed me of the Missouri laws and that my chosen tint would technically be illegal and after all of the talking, gave me a time the next day to come in along with an estimate on the job. I roll up, sit in the waiting room for about 2 hours and my baby pulls around the corner looking nicer than ever. They tell me not to roll the windows down for 3-5 days, I pay the EXACT estimate I was given the day before and walk out a very happy customer. I will be coming back and will be recommending this place. read more

Tintsmith did a great job on my '06 Civic. They got me in on a Saturday morning and had it done even quicker than estimated - the whole thing took no more than 45 mins. I chose to go with the basic performance tint line, and all was done very well and with great quality. The Tintsmith sticker they put on your window is about 1.5" wide and you can barely see it - they also put it on the outside of the window so you can take it off if you don't want it. Other places put the sticker under the tint so you're forced to keep it. Their shop is very clean, too. I would highly recommend this place for your next tint job if you're in the northland. read more
