The portions are large enough to satisfy the appetite, the menu is quite extensive, and the prices are reasonable. Lunchtime price was £16.45 for three tapas. I had Paella Verduras, Champinones con Huevo, and Calamares a la Anadluza. Herself had Tortilla Espanola, Boquerones en Vinagre, and Vieiras (Scallops - which had a £4 supplement). We decided to select 3 dishes each and when they arrived we shared and nibbled from all. They were substantial in size, I would say some were more piping ho than others. I enjoyed the flash fried beef stripes with garlic, chilli and read onion. The meat was tender and lots of it. I also enjoyed the king prawns with paprika batter, fresh and spicy. The restaurant busied up, creating a nice atmosphere. There are a number of tables so perfect for a family night or out with friends. I have given this 3 stars as I would like to return again to try more dishes, and I really do hate when food isn't piping hot!! Great value for money though.

Just around the corner from the Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum & the Dunfermline Glen Park, the restaurant is well located. With the park so close by, you can have a stroll either before or after dining, especially in the summertime. Dunfermline Abbey is also less than five minutes walk away. The restaurant itself is very welcoming with a very pleasant owning family and great waiting staff. The food is absolutely superb. I've just returned home from dining there this evening and four of us ordered the Paella portion for two, eight Tapas dishes plus drinks and desserts and it was an extremely tasty and satisfying meal. We had booked a table of 9 for my birthday feast and it was nice that the table was ready for us as soon as we arrived, there was only a few other people inside but it was a rainy Wednesday night. Once the rest of our party had arrived we ordered some drinks and had a chat about what we fancied ordering - the good thing about a big party was the fact we had loads to try! We were served by a gentleman for most of the evening who I think was the owner and he could not have been any nicer, very chatty, knowledgeable, helped us in anyway he could and he checked back often to make sure everything was perfect. Our tapas dishes arrived a short while later to a chorus of oo's , aah's and what is that?!'s and we were not disappointed everything I tried was delicious but my favourites where the Chirizo, Gambas Gabardinas, morcilla and pinchos de atun. We were even given some olives (which the owners mother marinates for the restaurant), bread and oil to nibble on. After all this we were more then full but a brave few tackled a Desert of creme Catalan (which is sort of like creme brûlée) which was brought out with the sugar on top and the the sugar was caramelised with a little blow torch infront of us by our super server. As it was my birthday my parents had brought a surprise cake which was brought out after desert and I was serenaded in Spanish! Our waiter kindly offered to cut the cake and when I was brought back out with lovely slices on a saucer with whipped cream, raspberry sauce and sprinkled with icing sugar, how lovely was that?! After our food festival we were offered sla liquor on the house which I think was called estrella (like the beer!) and it was lovely, I got a double shot as I was the birthday princess! When we went to leave the server stood and chatted to us as we all showered him/the restaurant/the chef with praise. He was very modest and thankful. Im sure you have gathered by now that I am head over heels for Casa Ole! This place is truly special and I think everyone should try it! All the traditional tapas are here and all very, very good. If I were to single one out I would have to recommend the Morcilla (Spanish black pudding) which was totally amazing! Greeted by the sound of flamenco guitar as you enter, your senses are transported to a cosy cantina off the traditional tourist beat on the Iberian peninsular. Casa Ole simply oozes Spanish ambiance. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the food and went the extra mile in making sure we had everything we wanted, exceptional good service. As part of a large group there was good opportunity to sample a wide variety of the dishes on offer and none of them fell short of the mark. A great evening and delicious food, all in all highly recommended. There are offers on the website for both lunchtime and evening dining so its very good value as well at just under £10 for 3 tapas and desert or coffee.

We went for the lazy option when ordering, the Chef's Recommendation (£26.95 for two people): salad, patatas bravas, sauteed mushrooms, sauteed chicken, lamb in white wine sauce, chicken croquettes, battered prawns and meatballs. The food arrived pretty much all at once which was great initially but it did mean some of the dishes were cold by the time we got to them! I didn't have a huge appetite and we didn't manage to finish it all so I'd definitely say it was good value for money! Stand out dishes for me was the battered prawns (although it was served with sweet chilli dip, sad times) and I also really liked the croquettes even though they were a little stodgy. I was happy with the food but my Madrid memories from the previous week were perhaps too strong of an influence as I wasn't really wowed by anything we had . The service was really warm and friendly and I felt like we were really well looked after. Let's start from the beggining, the restaurant deco is similar to my favourite restaurants in Madrid, modern, a little dark at night and full of typical products (cheese, wine, garlic, ham's leg). All of them was amaZing, the wine was perfect and the lomo was super tasty!! After that we ordered the tapas, difficult choice! The selection was: black rice with alioli, aubergine with honey, chorizo lolipops with alioli and ham croquetas. I can't say which one was the best, absolutely incredible, but the croquetas was same as the best in Spain!! Even the rice... To be honest it was like beign in Spain! I regularly visit the restaurant in the south side and I am forever telling people how great it is but today everything felt rushed, had elements missing from the dishes and in some cases were just plain burnt. That's not to say there weren't highs the Bacalao was good as it always is, as were the Chicken Livers and Fabada. The Smoked Ham Hough Salad would have been great if all the ingredients were there but some missing white beans let it down. The Creme Catalana for dessert was lovely but this was not my best Tinto's experience. My tip, don't go on a Sunday lunchtime. UPDATE: I went to the Tinto's in East Kilbride again last week, It was a Tuesday night so every Tapas on the menu was £2.50 (not including the specials board). The food was better but there were still items missing from the menu and the Cheescake I ended up having for pudding (due to there being no creme catalana, a restaurant with no cream and sugar in it's kitchen!) was covered in a not very pleasant lemon and honey water. Battlefield Road remains the best version of Tinto's by some distance.

We often take our little boy with us and they are so lovely to him, I order him a couple of dishes as soon as we arrive and these are brought out not long after we have him settled in his highchair and our drinks have arrived. It's brilliant as food keeps him occupied and we can relax and enjoy our food too. I force myself to order some dishes I haven't tried before - it's so easy to stick with the ones I have tried and I LOVE - and each time I discover another mouth watering dish. One of my new favourites is the pork cheek, melt in the mouth, jam packed full of flavour and so moreish. Added to some regular favourites such as the spicy prawns, paella, patatas bravas and their delicious salad dishes and you get a wonderfully varied meal. My top tip is to order a basket of bread for the table, the sauces and oils that accompany the dishes are divine and I love mopping them up with a chunk of soft fluffy bread. It's great going to Cubatas in a big group, with people who are happy sharing. My ideal would be to go and order one of everything off the menu, heaven :) These guys also do gift vouchers, I know as I bought my mum and dad some for Christmas. We've taken them for dinner here a few times and they love it!
