Needless to say, he found nothing as there was nothing of value in the car, but he did destroy an entire passenger window and scatter shards of glass literally all over the interior of our car. After paying a joyous £75 excess on our insurance for this little idiot's fruitless escapade into our car, Churchill sent out Autoglass to fit a new window. They were friendly on the phone, and promised to send out a mechanic the next day. He arrived ahead of time, which was amazing, and was extremely friendly and personable. He vacuumed the inside of the car, and managed to fit the new window despite the fact that the car's battery had inexplicably gone flat overnight. I just can't describe how pleasant this guy was! He seemed to have genuine sympathy for our annoying plight. Next stop, RAC breakdown. This crook who broke into our car is going to end up costing us a lot of money.
