I have never been spoken to this way and can not in good faith recommend this business to anyone I know. I was going to spare all the details but since you are laying out the situation, I can also provide more context. Your other customer at the time was engaging with me. He noticed how upset Martha was and told me to just pay the $17 (5%). When I said it was about the principle and that I was just clarifying a confusion, he called me a C U Next Tuesday and a bitch. Instead of diffusing the situation, Martha said, please don't talk to a paying customer that way. (You were not in the room when she said that to me.) She also never told him to stop engaging with me. She never told him not to speak to me that way. She just wouldn't stop bickering and rolling her eyes at us. Is this what you call exceptional customer service? Additionally, this was a CLEAR case of miscommunication. Why would we choose 5% over $25 off if $25 is more than 5%? We still paid almost $700 for the service and would have paid this anyways. The difference was literally $8. If you had just made it clear to begin with or cleared up the confusion nicely, I wouldn't have left this review.
