Before anyone comes for me, hear me out. I used Tint World about 7 years ago. My experience then is not the experience I had recently. I didn't read the recent yelp reviews which I paid for significantly. Let me start by saying, scheduling the appointment is quick, fast, and easy. The woman I spoke to was pleasant. When I arrived, the gentleman helped me pick out the tint I wanted. My interior is very light so I wanted 5% to protect it. The gentleman confirmed and I waited for 2 hours. When it was time to pay, the woman that was helping me went over the warranty and aftercare instructions. I noticed she kept mentioning 20% tint but didn't really think too deep into it. I went outside and realized the tint was wrong! I went back in to ask if the tint was indeed 20% as I'm really not sure how tint is supposed to look in contrast to light interior and she confirmed that they did make a mistake. She offered to make it right but couldn't do it that day. I had to work the next day so I needed the car. I told her the earliest I could bring it in was 3 pm. She was reluctant but stated that even if her employee has to stay late, it's on him since he made the mistake. Next day, me being the considerate person I am, I moved my schedule around and offered to take the car in around 1130 am. She was very appreciative. I got there, she stated I would be there a long time because they're treating my car as a walk in. I remained patient and said I'll Uber home and come back. They had my car the ENTIRE day! Instead of me inconveniencing them, it didn't matter that they inconvenienced me. I guess no good deed goes unpunished. I also feel that I should've been compensated for my Uber trips. I don't think I'll be returning unless I have to tap into my warranty which gives me pause because I read other reviews that they don't honor them. I'll cross that bridge when I get there but hopefully it won't get to that point. On my Infiniti, the tint lasted for 7 years with no issues. For that and the prompt response they get some leeway. They do need to do better though. read more

I recently had 4 wheels swapped. had to go back several times to have the Tire Pressure monitoring system programmed. After 3 visits to have it programmed and several attempts to do it myself using the factory instructions I took it back to the dealership. 1500.00 bucks later, they found the sensors were installed in the new wheels were backwards. i called tint world to state my case and asked for a call from the owner, after a frustrating conversation with the person I dealt with, the owners son. Never heard from them. I have since had two Stero systems installed in my sons cars and scheduled a body wrap elsewhere. Mikeyb read more

All I can say is this place is terrible. Took my car there for tints and they did a shit job on it. Had to go back 3 times for them to redo it and it still came out the same. This place did a horrible job on my Dodge ram back in January. They told me there would be bubbles and some smudge on my windows for a couple weeks went back two months later to have them redone and they look the exact same, which is horrible. Tints installed fast, clean and professionally. This is the second vehicle I have serviced at this location and have been very happy with the service. The guys have been friendly and attentive. Explained my options and set up an appt. I was in and out within 45 minutes with the two front door windows tinted to match the factory installed back windows. Price was surprisingly affordable for the premium level tints. Definitely recommend. read more

OWNER DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK, DOES NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY. HE WON'T EVEN LET YOU TALK TO THE SALES PERSON YOU WERE DEALING WITH. They happily collected my money, reassured me that I had a warranty and could take care of it anytime... then when I called, he started talking over me then hung up on me when I tried to speak to the sales person I had solely dealt with going back and forth with for a year. Tints are alright. The amount of time wasted there for Tints, NOT worth it. Workers treat the place like a hangout spot, instead of a business. I called at 1:06pm for front window tints. I was told to come in and I could be serviced Immediately. Upon arrival, I was told they would be done in an hour and a half. I spend two hours waiting. I went to Friendlys and even got a hair cut. I returned at 3:40. My vehicle was still parked in the same spot I left it. They didnt start working on my vehicle until 4:30pm!! Three and a half hours later. I didnt leave there until 5:30pm. Workers don't treat the business as a professional environment. Cursing and joking around. Tint hasnt given me an issue. The tape on the windows to roll it down is super sticky and peels off bad. read more

I was watching this store a while before reaching out via messenger. I saw that the reviews were positive and that they offered all that I needed for my new Jeep Rubicon. I reached out and spoke to Santiago. He was awesome and on point. He gave me upfront pricing, offered payment options and showed me several pictures of rims that were available to me for same day purchase. The business is very professional. Customer service is a BIG DEAL to me. On so many occasions I've gone into places like these and was barely greeted at the door and looked over. Meanwhile I had 5k in my pocket to spend. These guys were great. They got me in, my rims were put on as well as my new grill (unexpected purchase but they still fit me in). I will be returning to them for my Jeep needs and my husband will be bringing his Range there as well. read more

I wanted to leave a review to warn others about this place but, I now see that I should have checked yelp before bringing my car here. Very bad customer service and doesn't stand by their work. Buyers Beware!!!!!!!! Shop doesn't take any accountability for their work. Read online reviews::: Read BBB Ratings:::: Read Recent Google Reviews:::: I purchased speakers amp and sub for my sons 2023 Wrangler on 12/18/2023. Install was scheduled on December 22, 2023, at 8am. The installation was supposed to take a few hours, but when I called mid-day to check on the progress, I was told it would take a few more hours. I explained that I needed the car by 5pm to attend a holiday party, but when I arrived at 5pm, I was told that my vehicle was blocked in by another car and they needed a few more minutes. After waiting for 45 minutes, I spoke to the manager, Dominick, and learned that tech Brian was still working on the car and would need another day to complete the installation. I went to the rear of the shop to find the entire interior ripped apart. I reluctantly left the car overnight and was promised it would be done by noon on December 23. However, I received a call from Dominick at 10:30am on December 23, informing me that it would be done by 2pm. When my son and I arrived at 2pm to pick up the car, we were shown the work that had been done and left. However, within minutes of driving, the radio stopped working, so we immediately returned to the shop. They tried to fix it but asked us to come back the next day. On Christmas Eve, they fixed the issue, and the system started working. Unfortunately, on December 26, the screen went blank again, and there was no audio coming from the system. We have been back to the shop four times since the installation, and the issue persists. It is concerning that my son, a 17-year-old, is driving around with no navigation, Bluetooth, or audio system. The communication among the employees is poor, and it seems like no one cares about resolving the issue. When I spoke with manager Dominick and installer Brian, they simply told me to bring the vehicle back for further repairs. I believe there may be a more significant issue at play, possibly causing damage to the vehicle's electrical system and resulting in audio system failures. Again, on February 6th went back and more issues. This time told the module needed a firmware update I believe version 3. Despite multiple attempts to fix the problem, the audio system is still not working as of February 14th. The screen turns black, FM radio is playing static and the mid-range speakers shut down only leaving base audio on. I am frustrated with the lack of progress and concerned about the safety and functionality of my son's vehicle. The truck is brand new with 6,000 miles and I question their ability to fix the issue. On Feb 14th I sent a certified letter to Owner Santiago Rojas of course no response I guess he is flying around Long Island in his plane. I disputed charges with Amex and have an open case. Of course nothing but lies from Santiago " Received products Date of purchase" ""Made Several attempts to contact customer via text and phone but have not been able to reach him" yeah ok not one call not one text. He did happen to outline how customer was aware of their no refund policy and I signed the receipt. Only issue I never left with anything that day. I have been advised not to have audio equipt fixed by another dealer so they can not put blame elsewhere. I have now opened up a case with NYS attorney general, Nassau county consumer affairs and Tint world Corp. As of March 23rd unit is still off and not working. This place is a joke and this will be the last time they take advantage of a local consumer. their online reviews speak for them self. Besides prices being high. The owner Santiago has no remorse or empathy. I stripped in front of his door while he's looking at my car. I hurt my palms and knee. Instead of helping me up and asking if I was okay , he continued to look at scratches on my car. I asked if I could clean my hands that had pebbles on them and he said "bathrooms in the back" . Since my knee was throbbing. I checked the are and it was bleeding and skin peeled off. I came out of the bathroom and asked for a band aid and Santiago pronounced "I don't know if I have any". He found a large one and with arrogance gave it to me. He continued with his pricing and I asked "don't you need to fill an incident report?" He responded "I don't own the premises , Peter next door is the owner" I went next door (same address 4722 Sunrise Highway,Massapequa,N.Y.) but no one was there. It was 8.50am and I assume no one gets there before 9.00am. I called the phone number which belongs to the store next door and Brian said Peter is the owner but he would email him in reference to how I was treated. Brian agreed with me that Santiago should have offered help. And should have handled situation with thoughtfulness and caring for my well being. As of now no one called me back to show any remorse. My knee and shoulders hurt and if this doesn't subside in a few days I will get a lawyer. THERE SHOULD NEVER BE A CEMENT BLOCK right in front of the front door to a business. Instead of being kind and considered a Santiago was a brute. In order to run a business you need training and be compationate and understanding You don't add nasty remarks to you're rudeness by saying "you should look at the floor when you walk" Just awful man. Many people saw me fall including cameras all over the area that recorded fall. At the end when I told my family they had a real good question "why did Santiago send you next door to Crown Kitchen where Brian had to email Peter, why didn't Santiago email Peter"? I'm still wondering what the answer is. read more

If you value your time, don't waste it here. This place was recommended by Massapequa auto body & I feel like calling them to ask, "why?". TW didn't tell me when I made my appt last month or when I called Wednesday to confirm my 9 am Thursday 7/14 appt that they were overbooked (& clearly understaffed). Well a job I was told that would take 3-4 hours ended up taking 26.5 hours. They wasted mine & my moms day off. I was told it would be done on Friday 7/15 at 10 am today & the reality was, it wasn't done till almost 12:30...& the tint was bubbly (which they said is normal?), they left a back panel protruding, my back seat was dirty (luckily I scrubbed it out with a Lysol wipe) & where the break light is, is tintless (which to me, looks weird) even tho there was a tint there before from Honda city (guy at TW claimed their tints are computer cut). See pictures. Even better? Despite the guy apologizing, he told me they don't "do appointments", which makes zero sense as I was told when I dropped my car off, I was told they were over booked. Then what did I have??? I didn't just walk in, but I did walk out annoyed af. My previous tint by Honda city lasted 8+ years. This place (supposedly) has a 3 year warranty... but I don't want to come back here ever. UPDATE 7/30/22: I went back for for an attempt for this "professional" job to be fixed & guess what? There were 3 other people there unhappy with the work tint world did. 2 were about tinted windows & 1, idk what the issue was but that person called cops. 8:30 am with 4 unhappy customers & 2 NCPDs. I didn't notice till I drove away that whoever attempted to "fix" my tint didn't fully close my car door all the way. You have been warned. STAY FAR FAR FAR! AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! read more

Horrible customer service . Nothing about keeping the customer happy . Had an electric start installed , a week later the battery died went back and they said had nothing to do with it . 1 month later remote wouldn't start , technician said it was some computer issue they fixed it after waiting an hour and a half on my time , 2 weeks later it happened again they had me wait another hour to hard wire the remote and gave me some bull about the reasons why. I asked to have my warranty start that day 2 months from purchase since nothing but problems . Owner who refused to come out of her office said no . Closed the door and refused to talk to me and let the employee deal with me . He said usually they charge people to fix the problem ... to fix your broken product ? Literally the worst establishment I've ever been in they are scammers and the most lazy people I have ever met. dropped of my car at 8am to get a windshield tint was told I would be called as soon as it's ready not only did they not call me when it was ready I had to call them for my car I waited till 5pm for a phone call and nothing. When James answered the phone he asked someone if it was ready and they said yes so who knows how long it was just sitting there finished Gave them the benefit of the doubt so I called back to make another appointment to install an overlay for a logo in front of my car that I ordered online. keep in mind it is just a logo very small and quick job the only reason I can't do it is Bc I don't have the tools like (heat gun, spray etc) when I pulled up to tint world so I can show them the overlay and where it goes they gave me an estimate of 90 AN HOUR TO INSTALL AN OVERLAY ???????? this should have a 5 star rating... I originally had work done April 2019.. I had a number of things done on my pickup truck including tint, rear air bags, leveling kit. They came through with everything and even corrected a window for me when a bubble didn't go away. There were no issues. I was satisfied enough I had them install a remote start on my dads car and also had them do new wheels and tires on a friends jeep. I brought my truck to Tint World and had them install ceramic tint on the front two windows. After a week of letting the glue dry I opened my windows to a half inch of glass not being covered by the tint. I've had plenty or cars tinted prior to this and never have I seen so much of the glass left exposed. When I went back to ask why it was like that & if there was something they could do for me, I was told "that's the way it's supposed to be" and then by someone else "its computer cut there's nothing we can do." After spending $200 on two windows for tint, I figured they would stand behind their work. I highly recommend that no one uses this company as all they are interested in is taking your money and moving onto the next job. There is no customer service or customer appreciation from these guys. I was given an attitude for questioning their sub-par work. I will never use this company again. I needed to get the tints off. I called the service, asked whether I should schedule an appointment or can just walk in. They said it was by appointments only. My appointment was at 10 am and I was running 10 mins late. Knowing I was not fitting the 10 am appointment I called the service and let them know. They said it was not a problem. When I arrived the front desk person said I should wait a few minutes as the master was finishing with the other car. At 10:40 I asked the front desk what was happening with my appointment. The guy told me that because I was late he took someone else for service who walked in. Also, because taking off my tints would take about 2 hours, they took another customer, I was explained. When I said it wasn't fair, they guy threw my car keys into my face saying I could go somewhere else. I had to take some time off to do this and I didn't have more time to do that anywhere else, so I just had to wait. The car went in at 11:00.
